a large number of people out of the city on the different railroads taking advantage of the low round trip rates offered every Sunday The Orand Rapids took 951 from here to Rome City The Lake Shore had 200 to the nearby northern lakes and the Lake Erie fifty to Indianapolis The Wabash had 262 from this city Toledo Inf addition tothl 91 tickets were sold to Detroit going from Toledo across the Peru Logansport and other points LAYING DOUBLE TRACK Traction Company Making Improvements on Lafayette Street This week the city traction com pany will have completed the double tracking of Its East Washington Main street line up Lafayette street from Main to Jefferson where It turns east from the latter point there is already a double track The work of laying this double track has been Jin progress for the last two weeks in preparation MENTAL ACCURACY Greatly Improved by Leaving Off Coffee The manager of an extensive creamery in Wisconsin states tbat while a regular coffee drinker he found it Injurious to his health and a hindrance the performance of his business duties I cannot say he continues that I ever used coffee to excess but 1 know that it did me harm especially during tho past few years It in palred my digestion gave me a distressing sense of fullness la the region of the stomach causing a most painful and disquieting palpitation of the heart and what is worse it muddled my mental faculties so as1 to seriously injure my business efficiency I concluded about eight months ago that something would have to be done I quit the Use of the old kind of coffee short off and began to drink Postum Food Coffee The cook didn make It Tight ati first she didnt boil it long enough and I did not And it palatable and quit using It and went back to the old kind cf coffee and to the stomach trouble again Then mf wife took the matter In hand and by following the directions on the box faithfully she had me drinking Poa turn for several days before I knew it When I happened to remark that I was feeling much better than I had for ajong timet she told me that I had been drinking Postum and that accounted for It Now we have no other kind of coffee on our table My digestion has been perfectly restored and with this Improvement has come rMref from the oppressive sense of fullness and palpitation of the heart that used to bother me so and I note such a gain In menial strength and acuteness that I can attend to my office work with ease and pleasure and without making the mistakes tbat were to annoying to me Volte was using the Old kind cf coffee i Postum Food Coffee la the great est table drink of the times In my humble estimation Name given by Postum Co Battle Creek Mich Theres a reason for repaying the street During this time the cars have been stopping at Washington or Wayne and passengers were compelled to transfer When this double tracking da completed the traction company will be In good shape to care for its traffic on the Main and East Washington line Heretofore waiting for cars coming In an opposite direction has caused annoying de lays but now all this will be avoided The traction company has dene an Inimenso amount of work in the way of putting In double tracks during the last few years and its service has been Improved wonderfully The track along Clinton street is being re iald in preparation for the repaying on tbat street WILL AAVE A CITY LOOP The Lima Interurban Comes Into the City Oyer Lewis Street The Fort Wayne Van Wert Lima Interurban road which is now nearly completed as tar as track laying is concerned to New lUuen will enter the city from the east on the Lewis street line There will be an extension oc spur of the Lewis street line to Calhoun only one square and the traction cars will go down Calhoun to th transfer corner unloading the passengers at the court house square Going out the traction cars will go east on Main and then to the Lewis street line on Clinton This arrange tnent gives the Lima Van Wert road a city loop similar to the one the Southwestern Interurban has THE KERR fAlRRAY WORKS Received a Big Order to Equip Oas Plant at Cincinnati The KerTrMurray Manufacturing company has been
