decide. as to the teams whlc shall complete the northwest subdivision Have each section of the city represents by churches In its own section and a the close of the season let the- leader Df the respective subdivisions play dectslv contests for championship honors. Nat orally the original teams of the assocla Jon will be the strongest and this would tend to place the clubs playing on th bill grounds on a more equal footing and would at. the same time practically plac on a par with one another each of the rs malnlng teams of the respective subdlvf. ilons as the latter clubs will probably with one or two exceptions be composed sf debutants on the diamond.

This la a fair. way and one that should please all and one that is much advocated by active members of the association. If the league is not to expand then 1 eem to be the consensus of oplnlen that the present number of clubs should be re iuced from twelve to nine and play their ames In Mount Pleasant where th eague started its career and where the aain support and Interest la centered.
