until the proper time arrives All I ask for a client is a fair chance before a fair jury of his peers There will be no doubt as to the result then Thaw is sane and he can prove it Ha can prove his Innocence of crime The selection of Ilartridira to con duct Thaws case mentis without doubt that either milium Kand Jr or James Osborn formeT assistant district attorneys will be engaged to hindli the case before the jury llartridg has aad little experience la criminal cases and both Hand and Osborn are masters of the criminal law From the statements ot Ilartrldce oalv one conclusion can be drawn as to the nature of the de fense and that is that Thaw was Jus tilled in his act end that the real reason for the killing has not bean disclosed Thaws Mother Arrives Mr William Thaw mother of the was no one who overheqrd jlhelr conversation Mrs Thaw remained with her son until 1145 when she was Informed that under theprlson regulations she Would have to leave She complied with the rules after bidding Harry an affectionate farewell Joshua Thaw who had accompanied his step mother left with her and the two took an electric hansom away from the Tombs going to the ofllce of Clifford Ilartridge new attorney in whose hands Thaw has placed his case The young wife re turned to th prisoner after Mrs Thaw had left and remained with him a few moments before she too left the Tombs to go to the
