Miss Eisenstein, Mr. Stumbaugh Wed CALENDAR Miss Barnes, Mr. Maassen Marry MEXICO (MO.) LEDGER Page 8 Monday, Aug. 26, 1974 Miss Susan Linn Eisenstein and Charles Michael Stumbaugh were married at 7 p.m. August 13 at the State Fair Highway Gardeas with Dr.

Thomas Hall officiating. The former Miss Eisenstein is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Eisenstein of Kansas City and Mr. Stumbaugh is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Charles W. Stumbaugh of Montgomery City. Mrs. Lilian Maynard and Robert Lindstrom were the organists and Danny Gray played the guitar and sang, "For Baby." The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white organza gown with the waist trimmed in pink satin.

The scoop neckline was outlined by a flounce with appliqued white lace daisies. The chapel-length train was appliqued as well. She wore lavender and white daisies in her hair and carried white and lavender orchids with streaming greenery. The bride's sister, Miss Gwen Eisenstein, was maid of honor and wore a floor-length, floral print dress on a light lavender background. The bridesmaids, Miss Debra Hopkins and Miss Kris Bid- son, both of Sedalia, wore dresses like the maid of honor and all carried a basket of flowers.

James Stumbaugh, brother of the groom was the best man and Mike Peveter of Kewanee, and Victor Eisenstein, brother of the bride, were groomsmen. Ushers were Patrick Stumbaugh, Mark Stumbaugh, brothers of the groom, and Dave Eisenstein, brother of the bride. Brothers of the groom, Tim and Tom Stumbaugh, read their own selections during the ceremony chosen for the occassion. A reception was held in the Ramada Inn. White bells and pink and white streamers decorated the rooms and tables.

Mrs. Sharon Busken of Montgomery City, sister of the groom; Miss Amy Henchey of Columbia and Miss Merrill Perlman of Herrin, 111., served at the bride's table. Miss Stephanie Pfeiffer of Boonville registered the guests. Miss Nancy Lindstrom and Miss Margaret Lindstrom, cousins of the bride from Sedalia, were in charge of the gifts. Mrs. Wedding Parly Chosen, Fourth Birthday Party Invitations to the wedding of Miss Mary Gayle Taylor and Robert Sherrill Denham, both of Mexico, have been issued and members of the wedding party have been selected. The couple will wed September 7 at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Mexico United Methodist Church with the Rev. J.C.

Montgomery officiating. Baldwin celebrated her fourth birthday at an afternoon party at her home. Those attending were Ken and Kristi Mathews, Missy and Darinda Stephens, Christa and Jenny Foster, Danny and Michael Quinlan, Marsha and Rachel Baldwin, Kent Wilson, Michele and Christy Norfleet and Lori's sister, Tina Lynn. Lori is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Willard Baldwin of Thompson. David Dick Honored On Sixth Birthday A party honoring David Dick's sixth birthday was held August 19 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Dick hosting. Games were played and home-made ice cream, lemonade and cake were served.

Those attending were Mike Tangora, John Lawrence, Richard Speidel, Timmy Brandow, Vince Fuemmeler Lon Fisher, Clay Haynes, Gary Haynes and Danny Dick. Parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Herschel 0. Taylor of Mexico, will be the hosts at the reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall following the ceremony.

Miss Taylor has asked Miss Barbara Duffen of Kirksville to be her maid of honor. Miss Kimberly Taylor, sister of the bride-to-be, and Miss Sue Evans of Columbia will be the bridesmaids. Best man for Mr. Denham, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Robert F. Denham of Mexico, will be his Stumbaugh will continue with her last year at the University of Missouri at Columbia. Invitations Sent brother, Alan Denham of Mexico. Groomsmen will be John Taylor, brother of the bride-to- be, and Mark Denham, brother of the prospective groom. Two brothers, George Taylor of Martinsburg and Charles Taylor of Columbia will seat the guests.

Prior to the ceremony, Mitchel Taylor and Ralph Taylor, brothers of the bide-to- be, will light the altar candles Rachelle Taylor of Ann Arbor, and Angela Sigmund of Columiba, nieces of the bride-to-be, will be the flower girls. Asron Denham, brother of the prospective groom, will serve as ringbearer escorted by Kelly Wren of Springfield, niece of the bride-to-be. Wedding music will be provided by Mrs. John Wilier, organist, and Gerald Valet, soloist. The Beagles School reunion will be Sunday, September 8 at the school, 12 miles northeast of Mexico.

A basket dinner will be served at 12:30 p.m. and afterwards there will be a short program and various awards will be presented. All former teachers of the school, pupils and friends are invited to attend. Co-chairmaning the event are Mrs. Maude Gray and Mr.

Music was provided by Miss Cindy Thompson of Kansas City who played the "Processional March" and "The Wedding Song." The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.

Earl Barnes of Mexico and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Maassen of Mexico are the parents of the groom. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of quiana jersey and imported venise lace with long, fitted sleeves trimmed with lace at the cuffs. The smooth fitting bodice featured a high neckline with lace and seed pearl trim.

Lace ap- pliques accented the bodice, edge of the gown and" the chapel-length train. The elbow length veil was secured to a Juliet cap headpiece trimmed with lace and seed pearls. She carried a cascade arrangement of yellow and white roses, daisies and baby's breath trimmed with streamers tied in lover's knots. Mrs. Larry Barnes, sister- in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor from Columbia and Mrs.

Pat Campbell of Excelsior Spings was the bridesmaid. They wore floor-length gowns of yellow polyester knit with empire waists and carried colonial bouquets of daisies and baby's breath with white streamers. Shawna Maassen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Maassen of St.

Louis, a cousin of the groom, was the flower girl and wore a floor-length gown of yellow cotton with an empire waist accented with yellow ribbon. She carried a basket of rose petals. Jo Tom Forster of St. Louis was the best man. Harvey Maassen, brother of the groom, of Mexico, was the groomsman.

Ushers were Larry Barnes of Columbia, brother of the bride; and Darryl Griffin of Mexico, brother-in-law of the groom. Randy Littrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billl Littrell of Sturgeon and cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer. Mrs.

Barnes, the bride's mother, wore a floor-length sleeveless dress of yellow polyester knit with a corsage of white and yellow daisies and baby's breath with a white ribbon and white accessories. Fred Peck in Arkansas. Mr. and Mrs. John Hanny of Lakeside, have been visiting Mrs. Ada Ferguson and other friends and relatives before leaving for Falmouth, to visit their daughter and son-in-law, Mr.

and Mrs. James Eakins and- family. Miss Joey Oliver of daughter of John Oliver and Mrs. Nona Jane Oliver, left Friday for William Woods College in Fulton where she will be a freshman this fall. Wednesday Club Meets At Wilson's Mr.

and Mrs. Terry Maassen (Dean Patrick Photo) of mintgreen polyester knit with a floral bodice, and wore a corsage of white daisies and baby's breath trimmed with green ribbon and white accessories. A reception was held following the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall with a buffet luncheon at noon. The bride's table was decorated with a yellow underskirt and overlay of white nylon net trimmed with white daisies. The centerpiece of white and yellow daisies flanked the table.

The four- tiered wedding cake was topped with a bride and groom and decorated with yellow roses and circled with a garland of greenery. The guest tables were decorated with white tablecloths and topped with bud vases with white and yellow roses. Mrs. Bob Littrell of Columbia was in charge of the guest book, Mrs. Darryl Griffin and Miss Phyllis Maassen, both sisters of the groom, served the cake.

Mrs. Kenneth Neale of Thompson and Mrs. Jack Allison of Mexico served the punch. Mrs. Don Greer of St.

Louis registered the gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rudd, Mr. and Mrs.

George Pottebaum, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Kempker, all of Mexico, served the buffet luncheon. After a wedding trip to southern Missouri the couple is at home at Route 3, Mexico. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Air Park Restaurant.

Bookmobile The Mexico-Audrain County library has announced its bookmobile schedule for next week as follows: Monday, Strother 9 to 9:45 a. Maple Grove 10 to 10:45 a. Fox 11 to 11:30 a. Oak Crest Trailer court 1:30 to 4 p. m.

Tuesday, Vandalia south 9 a. m. to 3 p. Vnandalia branch 3 to 3:45 p. m.

The next meeting will be with Mrs. Marie Bozarth on August 28. A secret pal gift was received by" Mrs. Zada Stumpf. Games were played with prizes going to Mrs.

George Watts, Mrs. Naomi White, Mrs. Zada Stumpf, Mrs. Connelly and Mrs. Elsie Staples.

Mark Mackie Graduates Sum ma Cum Laude Mark Mackie, formerly of Mexico, was graduated summa cum laude from Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg with a degree in business administration. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mackie of Mexico and his wife, the former Miss Claudia Jaeger, is the daughter of Mr. and Kenneth Jaeger of Mexico.

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mackie and their daughter, Tiffani, will move to Kansas City where he will be employed by the Hallmark Co. in September. Church Women United Meet At Shoup's RUSH The Rush Hill Church Women United met at the home of Mrs.

Donald Shoup on August 20 with eight members and four guests present. Mrs. Gary Richardson, secretary, presided at the meeting. Mrs. John Maxwell gave a report on the annual trip.
