He retired in 1968 as dean of the school, which later was closed. SEVILLE, Spain (AP)-Brig. Gen. Jardine as general sales manager. Mr. Jardine was born Dec. 30, 1939 and attended schools in Buhl, Idaho. He was in the Army for three years and attended Idaho State University in Pocatello.

He is married to Peggy Zurek of Buhl, Idaho and they have two children Jeff, 8, and Cindy, 4. Mr. Jardine has been active in the Buhl Jaycees for a number of years and also holds the rank of Eagle Scout. He started with Lincoln-Mercury in 1963 in Twin Falls, Idaho and has earned several salesmanship awards. The Jardines will reside in Waynesboro.

Sales for Augusta Precision Tool Corp. for the year ended Dec. 31, 1970 exceeded $300,000. Sales for the corresponding period of 1969 were approximately $180,000, and during 1968, which was the company's first full year in business, sales were approximately $145,000. This increase in output was accomplished with a minimum of additional personnel, and the company expects sales for 1971 to fall in the category.

The firm now has representatives in all major industrial areas of the United States, as well as representation in Great Britain and Western Europe. The firm manufactures precision tools and dies for customers throughout the United States. According to the weekly survey conducted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, gross loans at 28 of the largest banks in the Fifth Federal Reserve District increased $81,260,000 during the week ending Dec. 23, raising the total outstanding to $9,257,413,000. Loans to domestic commercial banks rose $26,432,000.

Loans net of these interbank transactions, or loans adjusted, gained $54,828,000. Demand deposits climbed $68,730,000 and time deposits rose $24,648,000. Investments went up $42,768,000. Figures for the 28-bank report showed that financial loans rose $8,818,000. Of this total, securities purchased under resell agreements with brokers and dealers increased loans to financial institutions other than domestic commercial banks gained while loans for purchasing and carrying securities fell $108,000.
