The bride-elect was graduated from Newark High School in 1956. The prospective bridegroom was graduated from Granville High School and is employed by the Kaiser Aluminum Company, Attendants of the bride and bridegroom will be Miss Marilyn Trimble as maid of honor and Royce Cannon, New Lexington as best man. Dr. Morlan Has Been Awarded A Fellowship DR. ROBERT L. MOR-ings Ian, Denison University graduate of 1942, has been granted a Fulbright Fellowship to teach in Amsterdam, Holland, next year. He is completing his seventh year on the faculty of the University of Redlands in California.

He holds the rank of associate professor of government. His new assignment while he is on leave will be as visiting lecturer in political science in The Netherlands. Mrs. Morlan, the former Anne McMillen Matthews, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Dudley T. Matthews, former residents of Newark, and their three children, Shirley, 10, Janet, seven, and Larry, three, will accompany Dr. Morlan to Amsterdam. Mrs. Morlan is a 1944 graduate of Denison University.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING of the 37th Division Club was held Tuesday night with Mrs. Eurie Lee Morgan as the hostess. A family picnic was planned and will be held at 4 p. m. Sunday, July 15 at Moundbuilders State Memorial.

The remainder of the evening was spent informally. Present were Mesdames O. G. Pitt, Eurie Lee Morgan, Ralph Moore, Everett Shepherd, Thomas Getreu, George Hughes, Earl Lallathin and Homer D. Walton.

The next meeting will be held at 8 p. m. Tuesday, July 10 in the home of Mrs. Vance Deckard. A white elephant sale will be held.

Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority Meets To Plan Activity MEMBERS OF BETA Chapter of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority held a business meeting Tuesday night in the sorority rooms. Mrs. Robert Needham, president, con ducted the meeting. Delegates were instructed regarding the convention and the sales tax committee reported that the team headed by Mrs. Harold Sheets won the contest.

Mrs. Robert Houck was captan of the losing team and they will entertain the winners with a breakfast at 8 a. m. Sunday, June 24, in Moundbuilders Sate Memorial. The meeting for July 3 has been cancelled and the July 17 meeting will be a picnic.

and Mrs. Daniel Swonger (Eagle) Install Officers During Annual Dinner Meeting APPROXIMATELY 70 members and guests attended the final meeting of the year of the Christian Women's Fellowship of Central Church of Christ, held Tuesday night in Fellowship Hall. Wilbur Stricker, retiring copresident, presided. Yearly reports were given by the various circle leaders. They are living in 422 Maple Ave. Mothers Club Holds Annual Picnic at Heath ANNUAL PICNIC FOR members of the Mothers Club of Woodside Presbyterian Church and their families was held Tuesday night at Poco Field at Heath. Following the picnic supper members held a business meeting in Friendship Center with Mrs.

HAZELWOOD MOTHERS' CLUB held the monthly meeting in home of Mrs. Robert Kincaid the Postal Tuesday evening. A social hour followed the business meeting. Games were played with fortunate contestants being: Mrs. Glenn Shoemaker, Mrs.

Sam Cline and Mrs. Robert Kincaid. The hostaward was given Mrs. Orville Stevens. Other members attending were: Mrs.

Wilmer Van Winkle, Mrs. Anda Kiger, Mrs. James Trimble, Mrs. Vernon Evans, and Mrs. Paul Dudgeon.

The next meeting will be held July 17 with Mrs. Charles Fee in Homewood Ave. Mrs. Wilmer Van Winkle will conduct the program and Mrs. Robert Kincaid the devotions.

Mrs. Alspach gave a report on the state convention of Delta Kappa Gamma which as held in Canton. Present were Mesdames Kenneth Alspach, Helen Jenkins, Wendell Jones, Arthur W. JUNE BUSINESS MEETING of Chi Gamma Chi Sorority was held Tuesday night in the home of Mrs. August F. Keck in 69 N. Cedar St. Mrs.

Paul E. Gorius was the co-hostess. Miss Angela Stare was named chairman for a summer dinner party. The next regular business meeting will be held in the home of Mrs. John Giles in N.

Morris St. on July 3. After the meeting tables were placed for bridge and awards for high scores were won by Mrs. Charles Ruff, Miss Genevieve Elk and Mrs. John Giles.
