Harry formerly of Newark. The wedding was by Rev. Father Borer, pastor of St. Mary's Roman Catholic! church in Dunmow, Essex, England, on March 13 at 10 a. m.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast and reception was held, attended by friends of the couple in the American and the British forces. Mrs. Snyder is a member of the WAAF of Britain and Pic. Snyder served with the 82nd Medical corps of glider and paratroopers. He enlisted Jan.

3, 1943, and has been in the European theater of war since March 13, 1944. He is now stationed in Lofer, Aust 1. guarding prisoners of war. Pfc. Snyder enlisted just before graduation from Hebron high school.

Capt. Colburn of WAC Honored at A Picnic Supper Capt. Kathryn Colburn of North Carolina, who came to Newark recently, a picnic supper was arranged in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rarick in 953 Woodlawn avenue, Tuesday night by her associates in the payroll department of the Fifth Service Command Base shop.

Capt. Colburn joined the staff there last as civilian personnel officer." She came from Camp Atterbury, where she held a similar position. She is a member of a patriotic family having two brothers and a brotherin-law in service. Also her husband, First Lt. Jack Colburn, of the Engineers corps is stationed in Manila, Philippine Islands.

Capt. Colburn was sworn in the WAC on July 28, 1942. Tuesday night at the party for her the time was spent informally with games after the picnic supper. Those present were Capt. Kathryn A.

Colburn, Mrs. Ellsworth Cooperrider, Misses L. Waterman. Pearl Wisener, Reba P. Wince, Isabelle Jones, Mary Keim.

Jean Hollar, and the hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Earl A. Rarrick. supper Tuesday night in Dugway Roadside park, after which was a business meeting and election of officers.

Russell Prince of Brisbane, Australia, to join her husband, Pfc. Russell Prince, recently honorably discharged from the United States army. Mrs. Prince was scheduled to leave Sydney Saturday to come to Newark. She was formerly Miss Ruby Fowle and the marriage took place May 6, 1944, in the West End Methodist church in Brisbane.

Mr. Prince is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Prince, Route 2, Thornville. Personals Mr.

and Mrs. Adam Hack, 254 North Cedar street, have returned from Akron, Ashland and Cleveland where they visited friends. Nelda Spicer, 10. of 303 East Main street, was treated in the City hospital Tuesday at noon for minor injuries of the right arm suffered when it caught in the rells of an electric wringer. Bob V. Baughman, has informed his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Baughman, 649 East Main street, that he has been assigned to they V-5 unit at Wooster university, Wooster. Baughman enlisted in the navy in October, 1942, and received training at Great Lakes, Ill.

Edward Mays of Hailford, Conn. Mrs. Billingsley accompanied her daughter to California and remained for the wedding on May 13. completed a 30-day leave with his parents after completing nine trips in the Atlantic and Pacific. Mrs.

Albert Pierpont, near Highwater, underwent an operation Monday in City hospital. Her condition is as good as can be expected. Mrs. Della Smith, Rye Beach, a former resident of Newark, entered Mt. Carmel hospital, Tuesday for removal of a cataract.

Mrs. Maude Booher, 74 King avenue, received a telegram Tuesday from her son, John Booher, informing her that he had arrived in New York on Sunday and would arrive home tonight for a furlough. Pfc. Booher served six months in Germany with a medical corps of the 97th division. Eugene Pryor, is spending a 12-day leave, with his grandmother, Mary Pryor, 361 Clarendon street.

Pryor will report to Purdue university, Lafayette, at the end of his leave. Pfc. Jack Kirk is spending 30-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.

The bride is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan university and member of Phi Beta Kappa, is an analytical chemist for E. I. du Pont and company, Cleveland. Mr. Trisler attended Denver schools and Ohio Wesleyan where he affiliated with Sigma Chi fraternity.

He is a student in the Western Reserve school of medicine. Upon their return from their wedding trip they will be at home in 2110 Cornell road, S. Cleveland.
