Residents Of Farber Have Trips By Mary Ellis FARBER Mr. and Mrs. Melville Hawklnson have returned from a week's vacation trip. Mr. and Mrs.

Harold Ulry of Laddonia accompanied them. visited Mrs. Ulry's toother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Claggett of Grldley, and her brother- in-law and sister, Mr.

and Mrs. George Fusht of Novi, Mich. They went to White Cloud, where they were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Barrett and Alice.

The Barretts are former residents of this area. They moved to White Cloud early this year. Mr. Barrett is employed in construction of a new North American plant there. Hawkinsons and Ulrys jjinen took a ferry at Lud- for a 6-hour ip to Milwaukee, Wis.

and Mrs. Towny and family of Bloom- ttogton, and Miss Edith of Bartonville, 111. JHERMAN Roberts of Lancaster, who has spent the past few winters with his son, Sam Roberts and family of Baton Rouge, is visiting his son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Roberts and Julia.

Mr. Roberts met his father at St. Louis Airport Tuesday of last week. He had been visiting a daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs.

Leon Gross and family of Minneapolis, Minn. Special Trash Weekend Planned At Laddonia By Norma Ellis of Laddonia who have large trash items, which can not be picked up weekly by the solid waste man, may take them to the pump station at the end of Fifth and Western Sts. the week end of Aug. 21-22. Trash may be placed on the grounds and the solid waste man will pick them up for disposal.

There will be no charge for this service as the city will pay all expenses. Aug. 22 will be the final day to take such items. MR. AND MRS.

LARRY ttaysmith of Little Rock, were guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Naysmith for several days last week. Guests in the Naysmith home Wednesday evening were, Mr.

Ice cream, cake and cookies were served. THE WOC MET at the Presbyterian Church Thursday with 13 members and two children, Forrest LaRue and Tammi Teague present. The president, Mrs. Elwood LaRue presided. The meeting opened with the group singing, "Praise Him, Praise Mrs.

Dan Erdel gave devotion from Luke 9:14. Mrs. Clay Andrews was moderator for Circle I and Mrs. Joe league was moderator for Circle II. The chairman, Mrs.

Clay Andrews had no special report but gave a Bible reading from Eph. 4:16 and she was in charge of the Least Coin devotion. The visiting committee, Mrs. Walter Klusman and Grace Gorman, reported several visits to sick and shut- ins. The meeting closed with the WOC prayer, after which refreshments were served by Elizabeth Erdel and Irene Jeffries.

The next meeting will be Sept. 2. MR. AND MRS. A.M.

Dillard visited Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dillard and daughter, Lindsay of Kansas City several days last week. MR. AND MRS.

GUY Thompson and Debbie have returned from their vacation. They visited his brother, Virgil Thompson and family and her nieces in Westminster, Colo. Then they went through Yellowstone Park to visit their son, Roger, who is a teacher at Gig Harbor, Wash. While there, they visited his brother, Bob, and family at Seattle. They also visited hli niece, Mrs.

Shirley Young and 'daughter, at Fresno, Calif, and his sister at Avenal, Calif. After going to Morro Bay, and Disneyland, they came home the southern route. MR. AND MRS. Phillip Hoi- brook and family of Howell, have been visiting Mr.

Zimmann years hadn't dampened the spirits of the members of the Class of '66 as they chatted, joked and laughed through a reunion Saturday at the community building at Middletown. There was a carry-in dinner at 1 o'clock and an informal meeting afterward. Vince Logan, class president, was master of ceremonies. Mrs. Nancy Fipps Dunn, chairman of the planning committee gave a report.

The group planned to meet again in five years. Those present were Miss Patti McCarthy, South Pasadena, Jack Elliott, Gainsville, Florida; Mrs. Christina Ward Gruber and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Nancy Presley) Conover, St.

Louis; Mrs. Cleve (Marianne Alderson) Holliday and children, St. Charles; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Blaue, Randy Hampton, Wellsville; Mr.

They came at this time to attend a reunion of the members of the Class of 1966, Wellsville-Middletown R-l High School. MR. AND MRS. Charles Deiter and Mr. and Mrs.

Dan Deiter and family of Montgomery City spent from Thursday through Sunday at Owls Ben near Eminence, where they were joined by relatives of Mrs. Chalres Deiter. Among those present was a brother-in-law, Loya Lance, 87, of Salem, 111. The event was the annual camp- out of the family group held the first weekend in August. MR.

AND MRS. J.W. Clement and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Smith, accompanied by Mrs.

Larry Barton of Middletown and Mrs. Lillie Smith of Buell, attended the funeral of a brother-in-law of Mr. Smith, Adrian Lohman, on Sunday at the Baue Chapel in St. Charles. Mr.
