Temple Mr. and Mrs. Kay Giles of Pleasant Grove are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer, to Rick Camp, son of Peggy Camp and the late Bud Camp. The couple will exchange vows in the Salt Lake Temple on April 8.

The newlyweds will be honored at a reception on the same date from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Stake Center, 575 E. 500 Family to on eightieth Merle McCausland will be honored on April 10 on the occasion of her 80th birthday. family will gather in Washington, Utah for an Easter picnic and a birthday party. She loves to quilt, is a good cook and always willing to serve others. Jim and Merle have four children: Robert McCausland, Cody, Mrs. Max (Francine) Christensen, Orem; Mrs. Lynn (Linda) Walker, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Dave (Colleen) Grimshaw, Ogden Canyon.

She has 28 grandchildren; 14 great greatgrandchildren. Ice skaters in the 1930's enjoy the frozen pond behind the old Central School adjacent to where the Third Ward now stands. Living in Monkeytown was a lot of fun. As Louise was writing her history she thought, "I don't think the kids have the fun that we had." The kids in Monkeytown acted like a bunch of monkeys. Everyone had a nickname.

They theirfun right in the neighborhood. Many people with old-time Third Ward and Monkeytown memories are gathering photos, poems, stories and mementoes for the walk down memory lane during the open house. She began her studies with Irene Everett and currently studies with Tamera Timpson at BYU. Chandra has been a member of the Color Country Youth Orchestra and the Regional Honor Youth Orchestra, as well as playing with the school orchestra where she was concert mistress for several years. She is currently performing with the Southwest Symphony. Chandra has participated in the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival in Cedar City for five years and has received five consecutive superior ratings. She won first place in the Farm Bureau Talent Show when she was 13.

Chandra, with four of her sisters, entertains in many community and church events in both vocal and string performances. She also studies piano, voice, ballet and jazz. She is a cheerleader at Pine View High School this year, and is also a high honor student, a member of the National Honor Society, and listed in Who's Who in American High School Students. and Ruby Huntsman, Kenneth and Dorothy West and Reed and Arlene Newman.
