A. Brookshire The Missouri Supreme Court Tuesday disbarred Wv A. Brookshire, 70-year-old former state senator now in prison for killing his farmhand. The disbarment prevents Brookshire from practicing law. He asked last Wednesday that the disbarment be delayed while he appealed his conviction to the U.

S. Supreme Court. A Cole County Circuit Court iury convicted Brookshire of killing farmhand Ralph Collings May 25, 1959. The jury set his at three 3'ears in prison for manslaughter. Last Jan.

8. the Supreme Court upheld that conviction and sen tence. Still pending before the court is Brookshire's appeal from another conviction and prison sentence. A Cooper County Circuit Court jury convicted him of second degree murder for killing another farmhand. Roderick Neiss of Lawrence, and sentenced kim to 10 years in prison.
