Peter is survived by his loving wife, Roberta (Shepardson); children, Peter Jr. and his wife Patti, Carole and husband Tim Currier; adored Papa to Ashley, Hayley, Sarah and Jacob of Coral Springs.

Also beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and cousins in the Boston area. Peter graduated from Boston English and attended Boston University. Geoff was very simply the center of our extended family. He was a bright, shining light, and we don't know how we will go on without him. Geoff was sensitive, charming, stubborn, kind, hard working, loyal, loving, poetic, so smart, and way too young to die.

He had friends far and wide and had no intention of leaving so soon. His dream was to move to New York and "make it He loved to surf, ski, dance, travel, sing, loved adventure; he loved his family, people, and words. Music was his reprieve, and he considered himself "the antithesis of all that is generic." He hated small talk and being bored. He loved documentaries and independent films and always urged everyone to turn off the television. He was intense, fun, and lived large.

He loved shoes and hats, and his dog Rugger. Every year we had with Geoff was a gift, and we loved him very much. Condolences: Cancalosi Cancalosi, Joseph James, died on Friday, January 2, 2009. He was 83 years old, born in Jersey City, NJ. He graduated Dickinson HS, Jersey City; and attended Newark College of Engineering. He served in the Navy in WWII and the Korean War. Son of the late Joseph and Anna Cancalosi; brother to Charles and the late Andrew.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy T. (nee Calleo); father to Mark F. and Karen of Boca Raton, Florida. He and his dog Claudia (a Standard Poodle) were often seen at Heartland Rehabilitation Center, where she was a therapy dog. Before moving to Boca Raton 22 years ago, Mr.

Cancalosi was a long time resident of Ridgefield Park, NJ. He owned Coronet Custom Coatings in Clifton, NJ. He was a member of the Ridgefield Park Recreation. Mr. Cancalosi is a lifetime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Knights of Columbus in Boca Raton.

He served as President of the Homeowners Association of The Lakes of Boca; and was Past-President of the C.O.P. In 1999 he partnered with Lura and Micky Gorman in La Te Da, and became sole owner in 2003. Mark was a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara in 1978, and did graduate studies in economics at Harvard in 1981. In 1977 he was honored by the Omirron Delta Epsilon of California in recognition of high scholastic achievement in the field of Economics.

In 1989 he was invited to Paris, France to receive recognition of outstanding national leadership from the American Bankers Millionaires Club. He was acknowledged as Humanitarian of the Year by AIDS Help, Inc. in 2005. Through La Te. Da he made generous contributions to numerous charities and community organizations.

Mark will always be remembered for his larger than life attitude in everything that he touched. He relished gourmet cooking, his puppies, his swimming pools, cocktails and friends. The light has gone out of our lives. Donations may be made to AIDS Help, Inc. of Key West.
