Five Attend FFA Camp From Wellsville Chapter Personal News Of Farter By Mrs. F. A. Zlmmann George Brace, Wellsville. WELLSVILLE RANDY Mtmkey, Willis Kleinsorge, David Schipper, Philip Guibor and the advisor, Robert Knight, attended FFA Leadership Training Camp from June 11-15 held at Kaiser, Mo.

The members of the Wellsville Chapter, Wellsville Middletown R-l High School, participated in group leadership sessions. The conservation department presented several good programs and the members also attended Lee Mace's Ozark Opry. MR. AND MRS. ALVA Stubblefield of Kansas City are spending a few days with her brother and family, Mr.

and Mrs. Milton Brace and Steven. On Sunday the Braces and their guests attended a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brace and sons.

Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Delaloye, Granite City, Mr. and Mrs. George Brace and Geoffery, Keokuk, Iowa, Mr.

and Mrs. Vernon Carson, Mexico, and Boys State Conventions Are Tonight WARRENSBURG, Mo. (AP) The 960 high school honor students attending this year's Missouri Boys State were scheduled to hold state conventions this evening of their two parties, the Nationalists 'and Federalists. The training camp in civics is sponsored by the State American Legion, and is being held at Central Missouri State University. Lehr, county executive in the new Jackson County governmental setup in Kansas City and Lt.

Gov. William C. Phelps of Kansas City will debate the philosophies of their respective political parties tonight. Lehr is a Democrat, Phelps a Republican. Kansas City Chiefs running back Ed Podolak and Gov.

Christopher S. Bond will talk Thursday night. activities Monday, the youths divided into 16 mythical cities and elected a mayor for each. Connally Plans News Conference I WASHINGTON (AP) Part- time presidential adviser John B. Connally has sidestepped comment on rumors he may leave his post, saying he will detail his position at a news conference later this week. Connally, formerly Treasury secretary, was surrounded by reporters during a White House dinner for visiting Soviet leader Leonid I. Brezhnev. is a big rumor factory," said Connally, adding that he is hoping to reschedule a round-the-world trip he was supposed to begin next month.

This may be an indication of plans to remain as an aide to President Nixon. Published reports have indicated that Connally was frustrated with his role, had been unable to see Nixon regularly and was working in a hotel suite rather than the Executive Office Building. Connally said, however, that he has seen Nixon frequently, and simply doesn't feel comfortable in the EOB. MR. AND MRS.

Leighton Admire and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Wainscott and daughter, Mexico. MR. AND MRS.

HARRISON King of Vienna, were Wednesday and Thursday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Swarthout and family. The Kings are the parents of Mrs. Swarthout.

WELLSVILLE and Middletown Baptist Churches had joint baptismal services at Wellsville Sunday night. Special music from Middletown was a vocal solo by Gerald Keithley. Receiving the rite of baptism were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Forbis and children, Paul, Stephanie, Cindy and John of Wellsville, Jim Mertz of Montgomery City and Harold Swenson of Middletown.

Ministers officiating were the Rev. Quenten Boyd and the Rev. Shirl Davidson. HOWELL BISHOP of Montgomery City was host at a family dinner at his home on Sunday. Among those present were Mr.

George Fort, Sam and Tim, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Maskey and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clark and daughter, Mr.

and Mrs. Robert (Cotton) Oliver, Wellsville; and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bishop of Mineola. SUNDAY DINNER guests of Mr.

and Mrs. Lowell Presley, Randy, Debby and Greg, were Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dorr is, Garden Grove, Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Conover, Andy and Matthew, St. Louis and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Presley of Wellsville. Mr.

and Mrs. Dorris are house guests of his brother- in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Presley. MR.

AND MRS. CHARLES Deiter and their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Deiter, Angela and Marc of Montgomery City returned Sunday morning from a 10-day camping trip to Grand Teton, Mountain and other places of interest in the Yellowstone Park area. Highlights included a float trip on Snake River.

The group went to Fulton Sunday noon for a Father's Day celebration at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Holt and sons. Mrs. Holt is the daughter of the Charles Deiters.

Mr. Holt's father was also present. MR. AND MRS. SAM Blackshaw, Mrs.

Harry Shocklee and Mrs. F. A. Zimmann of Wellsville were among those attending the second night performance of the three-act comedy, "The Campbells Are Coming" at the Farber grade school. The play, written by a native of Farber, Jay Tobias, was presented by the Tobias Little Theatre of Farber which plans to present another play next year.

The Rev. D. Randall Cone, formerly of Wellsville, was in 1 charge of the lighting for the production. A BARBECUE was held Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Olen May near Wellsville. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Darrell May, Jason and Amy, who are moving soon from Orange Park, to Memphis, Mr. and Mrs.

Leland May, Richard and Glenn, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer and Clarence Meyer of Wellsville. WEEKEND GUESTS of Mrs. Anna Penn were her daughter, Mrs.

Ivan Paulson of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Mrs. Kenneth Royar of Davenport, Iowa. Booths Feted At Golden Wedding Date By Mrs. Eugene Sharp SANTE FE-Mr. and Mrs.

Williams, Vandalia and Bruce Clithero of Middletown attended the 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration held for Mr. and Mrs. James Booth at South Fork School near Sante Fe Sunday afternoon. RICHARD WILLIAMS and Joe Rodhouse of Atlanta, came Wednesday of last week to join Mr. and Mrs.

Donald Williams and family of Natrona Heights, and visit relatives around Vandalia and Laddonia. They all attended the 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration held for Mrs. Don Williams' parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Booth.

Richard and Joe left Sunday to return home and Mr. and Mrs. Don Williams and sons left Tuesday. THE 5TH WEEK "Lawn of the The Week" winner in Farber is Mr. and Mrs.

Charles Drainer and children. The Drainer home is located at 214 E. Franklin Street. THE FARBER BAPTIST Women's Missionary group sponsored an all church picnic basket supper Wednesday night at the Farber City Park. The picnic was held in honor of Father's Day.

WEEKEND GUESTS of Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Holbrbok Teresa and Lisa were Mr. John Davis and Mr. and Mrs.

Tom Clark of Kansas City. The also attended the Tobias play, "The Campbells Are Coming" which was directed by Mr. Holbrook. Mrs. Holbrook a member of the cast.

MR. AND MRS. Jimmie Bannister have been awarded "Lawn of The Week" in Farber and the sign has been placed in their yard for this, the fourth week. Mr. and Mrs.

Bannisters' home is located at 103 S. Centre St. Mr. Bannister keeps his yard very neat and often has small yard decorations such as the donkey planter in his yard now. At Christmastime, Mr.

Perry, who is project manager of the Kaiser Refractories, U.S. Air Force UHF Antenna Program, has recently been decorated by the Army Corps of Engineers with the "Outstanding Civilian Service Award." Mr. Perry, who lives in Oakland, makes frequent supervisory trips to the Mexico Kaiser facility.
