But they fled in September of 1994 while awaiting formal filing of charges, i They were found in Salt Lake City on Friday after they were featured on the "Unsolved Mysteries" television program and a neighbor recognized them. Both had been living in a Salt Lake apartment for about nine months. Salt Lake County Sheriffs deputies and FBI agents made the arrest without incident. A sheriffs spokesman said they will also face unspecified local charges.

Both will be transported back to California. SAN JOSE. Calif. Police in Salt Lake have arrested two fugitives believed responsible for more than 100 high tech burglaries in Silicon Valley. Richard Warner Ford, 40, and Matthew Charles Crome, 40, both of Fremont, were booked into Salt Lake County jail in Utah on charges of grand theft, burglary, conspiracy and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, San Jose police said.

According to investigators, the two were responsible for more than 100 burglaries in Santa Clara County between October of 1992 and August of 1994.
