MARY COCHRAN COSHOCTON Mary Cochran, 35, of 13660 Pear Orchard Road, Dresden, died at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, 1992, at Bethesda Hospital, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Ohio 208. Mrs.

Cochran was a 1975 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, was a lab technician at Good Samaritan Medical Center, was baptised Catholic, and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 476 in Wilkesville. Born Aug. 23, 1957, in Gallipo-lis, she was a daughter of Charles Hocter of Radcliff and the late Laura Lowe Hocter. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Mitchell R. Cochran, whom she married April 8, 1989; one son, Bra-den Charles Babcock of the home; two daughters, Christina April Babcock of West Lafayette and Candice Renee Babcock of the home; one stepson, Phillip Michael Stubbs of Coshocton; two stepdaughters, Angela Sue Harlan of Adamsville and Lind-sey Rae Cochran of Dresden; four brothers, John Paul Hocter of Radcliff, Charles J.

Hocter of Centerview, Robert Lee Hocter of Coshocton, and Daniel James Hocter of Chillicothe; and four sisters, Susan Lynn Chandler of Hamdon, Mahala "Kittie" Hayes of Jacksonville, Michelle "Mickey" Muncy and Judith Sorrell, both of Radcliff. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. today at Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton, where services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday with Father Jack Marquis officiating. Burial will be in Coshocton Memory Gardens.

Duling, 94, of 1024 Jackson died at 8:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, 1992, at Adams Lane Care Center, following a four-month illness. Mr. Duling retired In 1963 from Armco Steel following 35 years of service, was a member of St.

Paul AME Church and Armco Veterans Club. Born May 30, 1898, in Cadiz, he was a son of John A. and Amelia Simpson Duling. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Katherine Clark and Mrs.

June Campbell, both of Zanes-ville, and Miss Flecia Tabler of Columbus; one son, Daniel Edward Duling of District Heights, 15 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael David Duling, four sisters, and one brother. Calling hours are 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hillis Funeral Home. MARY PAISLEY Mary Kathareen Paisley, 90, of 2991 Maple formerly of Wheeling, W.Va., died at 8:25 a.m.

Friday, Sept. 4, 1992, at SunnyView Nursing Home. Mrs. Paisley lived most of her life in the Wheeling, W.Va. area where she retired as a private duty registered nurse.

She was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Wheeling, longtime member of Red Cross. She was a 1924 graduate of Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati. Born Feb. 2, 1902, in Xenia, she was a daughter of Joseph Burgess and Mary Elizabeth Haines Conklin.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan P. Ater of 3130 Lookout Drive and Dorothy Pitchford of Vallegjo, four grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Paisley, in 1987. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Chapline Street, Wheeling, with the Rev. Kenneth Price officiating. Bryan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Oglebay Park Tree Fund, co Oglebay Park, Wheeling, W.Va. 26003. FERN ROWLAND Fern Rowlands, 87, formerly of Spangler Drive, died at 6: 15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Wesley Glen Care Center in Columbus following a long illness.

Mrs. Rowlands was a former English teacher for Zanesville City Schools. She was a member of American University Women's Club and a former member of First United Methodist Church. Born Dec. 7, 1904, in Noble County, she was a daughter of Emma Harper Rowlands.

Surviving are several cousins. Calling hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at DeLong and Baker Funeral Home, where services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Ben Foulk officiating.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. MARTHA B. MILLER Martha B. Miller. 77, of 2744 Pinkerton Lane, died at 5:20 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 3, 1992, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mrs. Miller was a member of Fair Oaks Baptist Church. Born Aug.

16, 1915, in Malta, she was a daughter of Worley C. and Carrie L. Humphrey Hooper. Surviving are her husband, Charles E. Miller of the home; three sons, James E.

and Joseph L. Miller, both of Zanesville and John D. Miller of Longwood, one step-sister, Joanne Shumate of Zanesville; one nephew; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Robert Hooper. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Last week, Lothes requested the resumes, but after consulting with another mayor, Swope has Courts MUNICIPAL COURT Judge Zwelling Coleman E. Fair, 20, of 803 Orchard was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $300 and costs on one count of petty theft and criminal trespassing. Fan was charged with stealing 19 bags of aluminum cans from the Jolly Bar, 799 Main on Aug. 13, police said. A juvenile was also involved in the crime.

Larry W. Hunt, 21, of Avon-dale, received a five-day jail sentence and was fined $200 and costs for stealing surgical equipment from Good Samaritan Medical Center. Hunt was charged with stealing a surgical needleholder and fine point surgical scissors from the hospital on Sept. 3, police said. Melissa E.

Marsh, 18, of 1000 Greenwood was fined $200 and costs and sentenced to five days in jail on one count of petty theft. Marsh was charged with stealing five shirts valued at $140 from JC Penney, Colony Square Mall, on Aug. 29, police said, a Michael L. Edridge, 34, of 1232 Eastman driving while intoxicated, failure to drive within marked lanes, possession of marijuana; $750 and costs, 10 days in jail, operator's license suspended for one year.
