His latest exhibit was at the Lawrence Gallery in Beverly Hills in October. He is scheduled for more art shows in 2000. Convinced that Mesquite can become an art destination city due to the close proximity of Las Vegas and St.

By Mesquite Players MESQUITE A highly respected and admired artist, John Nyberg opened Mesquite Arts Center last week.

The gallery is decorated with a New York Warehouse Gallery decor which surprisingly enough fits very well in the location at 420-B, Riverside Road (in the rear) and Mesquite. Work featured is the Group Holiday Show, showcasing well-known artists from Nevada, Utah and California, plus work from Mesquite Community College students. Planning is underway for Nyberg's Mesquite Art Center's future shows and competitions to encompass regional, national and international artists. A gifted artist in his own right, drawing runners from as far away as Salt Lake City Utah and Las Vegas Nevada. It also is of interest to local runners and sports enthusiasts.

Festivities begin in front of Jadde Sport 223 Sandhill Blvd. For more information call Don at 346-6636. By Mesquite Players.
