She was employed as a Bakery Clerk for Publix Grocery Stores for 20 years. She is a member of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Ft.

Lauderdale. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Kenneth (Erin) Christiansen, Gordon (Colleen) Christiansen and David Christiansen; her adoring grandchildren, Drew, Katelyn, Bradley, Kelsea and Elise. Gigi adored and was loved by her sister Marie Dempsey, brother-in-law David two nieces Christina Anna. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from her beloved alma mater, Florida State University. This love affair with FSU lasted till the day she left us. Later in the 1990's, she went on to obtain her Masters of Science in business from Nova Southeastern University. After graduating in 1998, she entered the business world.

Gigi enjoyed a lengthy career both in nursing the pharmaceutical industry will be remembered for her loyal dedicated work. Gigi had the most radiant smile was gifted in her ability to put people at ease share with them her warmth. "How is it possible to describe a sunflower that takes its radiance from the sun?" Impossible, so you just say "that's a Gigi smile." Adored by her children, loved by her family's the Trainas the Ross', especially Betty Bill. Gigi knew that you could not change the course of the winds, but only adjust your sails. She fought bravely with persistence fortitude to maintain herself through a long debilitating struggle with a chronic illness.

She is so dearly loved by all her family friends. Her loss leaves a chasm in the hearts of those that knew her.
