Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens CANCELMO Cancelmo, Daniel Louis passed away March 16, 2002 at age 76. He was a resident of Delray Beach, FL since 1980. He leaves his wife Sylvia of Delray; son, John; daughter, Annmarie; and four beautiful grandchildren of Connecticut. He will be deeply missed by all.

Edith Greenspan died at the age of 73. Surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness. Born in Newark, NJ, she graduated from the University of Michigan and New York University.

She was a professor at Kean University in New Jersey and supervised student teachers at FAU. Edie lived a full life. She always be remembered for her optimism, compassion, spirit and her selfless way she illuminated the lives of others. She was active at the Music Guild of Boca Raton, Temple Beth El and the Soroptomist Club. Predeceased by her late husband Leonard Greenspan; she is survived by two daughters, Gina (Daniel) Steinway of Rockville, MD and Janice Resnick of Boca Raton; two sisters, Eleanor Ricciardi of Harvey Cedars, NJ and Dorothy Bergman of NYC; her former husband, Abraham Resnick and five grandchildren, Alyssa, Matthew, Daniel, Andres and Gabe.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM on March 20, 2002 at Temple Beth El. Donations may be made to the American Institute for Cancer Research or the Boca Raton Music Guild. GROSS Gross, June M. (nee Virus), of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Villa Park, IL, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2002. She was born June 10, 1932 in Chicago, IL, and grew up an Villa Park, IL.

She graduated from York High School in 1950 and began working at General Electric in Chicago. She married her husband, Ronald E. Gross on September 12, 1953. The couple resided in Villa Park and and Lombard David. while raising 3 sons John, Jeffrey, to In 1971 they moved the family Boca Raton, FL.

Since 1971, the family has resided in Boca Raton and Blairsville, GA. In the past years, June and her husband Ronald spent much time traveling across the country in their motorhome. They both made lifelong friendships with their friends in the Foretravel Motorcade Club. She was a homemaker who prided herself in taking care of her family. She was a generous and giving person.

Some of her happiest moments were spent just visiting and sharing experiences with friends and family. She will be sorely missed. She is survived by her husband Ronaid E. Gross, and two sons John F. Gross and David E.

(Beth) Gross. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey R. Gross. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, March 20 at the Babione Funeral Home (East Chapel). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 21 at the Funeral Home.

Beloved husband of late wife, Bess; dear father of Andy, Cynthia, and Ken; cherished grandfather of Max, Ali, and Zach; and loving companion to Beverlee Feinberg. A former resident of New York, Syd resided in Deiray-Boca Raton for the last five years. Syd passed peacefully in his sleep early Friday, March 15, 2002.

RAND Rand, Robert Mclver 73, a former long time resident and business owner of Hanover, NH, died suddenly on Sunday at his home in Delray Beach, FL. He was born July 5, 1928 in Hanover, NH the son of Richard B. and Christina (Emerson) Rand Sr.

In 1951 Bob married the former Eleanor Burdon and in June of last year they celebrated their 50th anniversary in Hanover, NH. After becoming a licensed funeral director, Bob worked with his father, owner of the Rand Funeral Home in Hanover and eventually he and his wife became sole owners. In 1986 Bob retired and in 1988 moved to Delray Beach, FL. He was an Active member in the Men's League at Lakeview Country Club in Delray Beach. He is survived by his wife Eleanor of Delray Beach, FL; his son, Robert M.

Rand Jr. of Pomfret, VT; his daughter, Dorothy R. Jeffrey of Indianapolis, IN; his granddaughter, Caitlin R. Jeffrey of Indianapolis, IN; his brother, Richard B. Rand Jr.

of Fairlee, VT; his sister, Sally Robes of Franklin, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH. Burial will follow at the Pine Knolls Cemetery in Hanover, NH. A Memorial service is being planned in Delray Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions his memory may be made to David's House, P.O.

BALDWIN Baldwin, Elizabeth Ney, born in Baton Rouge, LA passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side in Hollywood, FL on Saturday afternoon, March 16, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Baldwin Friedman; her son-in-law, Kenneth A.

Friedman and their sons, David and William; and two grandchildren from her deceased son Preston, Amanda Farington and Andrea Baldwin. Elizabeth grew up in Louisiana, and was a long time resident of Hopatcong, NJ. She attended Southern Seminary, Cushing Academy, and studied interior design at Columbia University in New York City. She married Preston deGrauw Baldwin, the President of Baldwin Belting, Inc. in New York.

She was a devoted mother to her three children, Preston Jr, Elizabeth, and Richard. Both of her sons are deceased. She enjoyed tennis and golf, and excelled at both. Elizabeth was a beautiful, intelligent and wonderful person, who gave so much of her life to those that she loved. Her strengths were her loving and nurturing ways, her persistence, and dedication to her family.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Elizabeth's name to Hospice Care of Southeast Florida, 309 SE 13 Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 23316. CALLAHAN Callahan, Carole 66, of Ft. Lauderdale died March 17, 2002. She was a resident of the area since 1955. In High School she was a talented basketball player and athlete. A world champion barrel racer she participated in many rodeos.

Throughout her life she remained active in the Republican Party. Retired from the US Postal Service with 23 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo F. Callahan in 1996. She is loved by her daughters, Vicki (Mark) Cutcliffe of Tallahassee, Carole (George) Raggio of Southwest Ranches; her sister, Joanne Hackenson of West Bridgewater, MA; grandchildren, Brandon and Brian Cutcliffe and her many beloved pets.

He was also president of the Electric institute in Washington, DC and a member of the Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. He is preceded in death by his sister, Cecelia Jans and her husband Henry Jans. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Mildred of Coral Springs; son John F. (Meredith) Hanion, daughter Irene Hanion, grandchildren John (Pam) Hanion, Christopher (Karen) Hanion and Jennifer Hanion, great grandchildren, Christopher and Amelia Hanion, and also a brother and a sister, Kenneth (Jeri) Hanion, and Gloria Hanion.

On January 6, 1937, she eloped with her husband, William (Bill). In 1948, Marie and Bill moved to South Florida with their daughter, Geraldine. In 1958, she became a Charter member of the William T. Johnson Chapter No. 274, Order of the Eastern Star, Hollywood, along with her sister, Gladys Brennan.

In 1966, Marie served as Worthy Matron, joining her brother-in-law, Worthy Patron, Albert Brennan Sr. In 1972, Marie had her proudest moment when Geraldine graduated with honors from the University of Miami, School of Medicine. In 1980, she retired from the School Board of Broward County after 20 years of service and traveled throughout the world. She was predeceased by her husband, daughter, sister and grandson, Eugene S. Konior Jr.

She is survived by her grandson Richard (Kathy) Konior; great grandsons, Philip and Paul Hughes; son-in-law Eugene S. (Carol) Konior Sr; nephew Albert Brennan and niece Eileen (Albert) McDonald. Viewing will be Wednesday, March 20, 2002 from 6-9 PM in the Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:15 PM followed by an Order of the Eastern Star Service at 7:00 PM both in the Funeral Home. Interment will be Private for the family only.
