O'GORMAN JR. William F. O'Gorman 53, of 618 E. Front Lansford, died Sept. 12 in his home.

He was the companion of Grace Kennedy of Summit Hill. He worked for Elk Lighting Factory, Lansford, and previously for Judd Construction Co. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late William F. and Rose M. (Sniscak) O'Gorman.

He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Lansford. He was a Navy veteran. Survivor: Companion. Services: 10 a.m.

BOSICH Lewis M. Bosich, 81, of Nazareth, died Sept. 11 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was married to Malrose I. (Beers) Bosich for 52 years last November.

He worked for National Portland Cement, Hecktown, for 29 years. Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Anthony and Jennie (Mlodossich) Bosich. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth. Survivors: Wife; son, David and sister, Anthonina B. Overholt, both of Nazareth.

Contributions: Church building fund. JOSEPH A. FARRUGIA Joseph Anthony Farrugia, 70, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 9 in his home. He was married to Nancy L.

(Blouch) Farrugia. A graduate of the Pennsylvania Institute of Criminology and East Stroudsburg University, he was a general agent for Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Co. for 37 years before retiring. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph and Clotilda (Dominicucci) Farrugia. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

He was a former member of the American Society of Chartered Life Underwriters and Bethlehem Kiwanis Club. Survivors: Wife; sons, Joseph A. Jr. of Kailua Kona, Hawaii, John A. Libertyville, James A.

ARANYA KAPCALA Aranya "Danny" (Ruangchai) Kapcala, 62, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 3 in Bethlehem. She was born in Thailand. Services: memorial, 2 p.m. Tuesday, Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.

12 in Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton. She was married to Lester W. Wentz Sr. for 57 years last October. She was a seamstress for Indigo Jeans, Lehighton, until 1982.

Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Warren Shupp and Gladys Rickert. She was a Methodist. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Lehighton. Survivors: Husband; sons, Lester W. Jr.

JAMES DOHERTY James "Doc" Doherty, 79, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 12 1 in the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was married to A. Virginia (Delph) Doherty for 56 years.

He was a mason for Lehigh Valley Refractory before retiring in 1985. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he was a son of the late James F. and Isabella (Bishop) Doherty. He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific theater and a Purple Heart medal recipient.

Survivors: Wife; daughters, Kathleen D. Friedenberg and Deborah both of Bethlehem; niece, nephew. Services: 8 p.m. Monday, Snyder-Hinkle Funeral Home, 527 Center Bethlehem. Call 7-8 p.m.

She was a production worker for the former National Inserting Systems Allentown, for 13 years before retiring in 1995. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late William E. and Hazel T. (Lund) Brace. Survivors: Sons, Michael L.

of Allentown, Randy S. of Scottsdale, daughters, Lisa M. Azar, with whom she resided, Carolyn of Allentown; brothers, Robert in Virginia, Bill of Buffalo; sister, Phyllis of Buffalo; five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan K. Gabel.

Pauls, 86, of Macungie, died Sept. 11 in Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Township. She was the wife of Edwin A. Pauls, who died in May. She was a clerk for Western Electric, New Jersey, for 30 years before retiring.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was a daughter of the late John and Christina Exel. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Trexlertown. Survivors: Stepdaughters, Donna M. McKiernan of Trexlertown, Dorothy J.

Stravinsky, 93, of Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, died Sept. 12 in Easton Hospital, Wilson. She was the wife of the late William Stravinsky Sr. Born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Liscak) Nemetz. She was a member of St.

ANNA MAY KOLARIK Anna May Kolarik, formerly of Schnecksville, died Sept. 12 in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the wife of the late Louis Kolarik. She was a clerk for the former Green Stamp Redemption Center, Allentown, for five years before retiring in 1974. Previously, she was a machine worker for the former Rionor Silk Mills, Allentown, 1949-1969.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Krause) Eck. She was a member of Zion Reformed United Church of Christ, Allentown. Survivors: Nieces, nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland Allentown.

Yergey 42, of Longsdale Road, Longswamp Township, died Sept. 12 in his home as a result of a house fire that occurred earlier this day. He worked in the shipping department of Can Corp. of America, Blandon, for more than 20 years until July. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Esther A.

Lahr, 78, of Kingman, formerly of Nazareth, died Aug. 28 in Garden Care Center, Kingman. He was married to Lorraine (McConnell) Lahr. He was a major in the Air Force serving in World War II, the Korean War, the Viet Nam War and in Thailand before retiring. Previously, he worked for Nazareth National Bank.

Born in Lower Nazareth Township, he was a son of the late Floyd J. and Nellie (George) Lahr. He played baseball for the Tatamy Indans in the Blue Mountain League and for Nazareth in the Tri-County League. Survivors: Wife; sons, Bruce of Orlando, David of San Clemente, Christopher of Fort Walton Beach, brothers, Gerald of Easton, Amazon of Bushkill Township; sisters, Margaret Reimer of Nazareth, Eleanor Muller of Burlington, N.C. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda.

Lee for 56 years last October. She was of Lee's Antiques, Kresgeville, for 22 years. Born in Paulsboro, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Adolf and Frieda Schroeder. She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Brodheadsville. SOPHERUS F. HENDRICKS Sopherus Fenner Hendricks, 87, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 11 in his home. He was the husband of the late Edna R. (Gaugler) Hendricks.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. before retiring. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Henry P. Sr. and Ellen M.

(Fenner) Hendricks. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Bethlehem. He was a member of 1 H. Stanley Goodwin Masonic Lodge 648, Ezra Royal Arch Chapter 216, Bethlehem Council 36, Royal Select Masters, Bethlehem Commandery 90, Knights-Templar, Lehigh Consistory, Rajah Temple Shrine, Red Cross of Constantine, Royal Order of Scotland, and Lehigh Valley Joshua Association. William B. Bott 68, of Covington, formerly of Allentown, died Sept. 10 in his home. He was married to Judith' (Storch) Bott. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was a son of the late Herman and Mary (Driscoll) Bott.

A Lehigh University graduate, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 30 years before retiring as chief industrial engineer. After retiring, he was an exit greeter for Walmart for five years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mansfield, Tioga County, and was chairperson of the Diaconate. Survivors: Wife; sons, William Jr.

(Frey) Kukoda. He was an electric welder in the rigger department for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 40 years before retiring in 1975. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late James and Agnes (Koczan) Kukoda. He was a Catholic.

He was a life member of the Jefferson Democratic Club, Bethlehem. Survivors: Son, Gerald J. of Bradenton, daughter, Patricia A. Herceg of Bethlehem; brothers, Charles E. of Bethlehem, Louis J.
