Flora Roberts, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Casey Funeral Home with Bruce Jackson and Max Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Henderson City Cemetery. Miss Roberts, a retired teacher, died Monday at her home after a long illness.

Born and reared in Henderson, she was a graduate of Freed-Har-deman College and Union College. She taught school in Henderson, Gibson and Chester counties for 46 years and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include three brothers, J.W. Roberts of Obion, Wilton Roberts of Kenton and Lymon "Buster" Roberts of Huntsville, and two sisters, Mrs. Willard Draper of Nashville and Mrs.

T.A. Baugus of Trenton. Johnny Clifford Fielder LUTTS Services for Johnny Clifford Fielder, 72, will be at 3 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah. Burial will be in Centenary Cemetery near Lutts.

Mr. Fielder, a retired sawmill operator, died Monday at his home apparently of a heart attack. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nora Morris Fielder; a daughter, Mrs.

Earline Hinton, both of Lutts; a sister, Mrs. Clara Bevis of Florence, six brothers, Charles Fielder, Billy Fielder and Clyde Fielder, all of Lutts, Claude Fielder and Clarence Fielder, both of Florenne, and Carl Fielder of Mishawaka, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. John Allen BIG SANDY Services for John Allen, 78, former resident of Big Sandy, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home. The Rev.

Rhodes Farmer will officiate. Burial will be in McRae Cemetery. Mr. Allen died Sunday at Detroit General Hospital. A longtime resident of Detroit, he was a retired employee of General Motors.

He leaves no immediate survivors. Mrs. Fannie Estes Mrs. Fannie Estes, 64, died Monday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a short illness. Arrangements are incomplete with Bledsoe Funeral Home in charge.

James L. Stemm McKENZIE Services for James L. Stemm, 76, were today at Brum-mitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Beal officiating. Burial was in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.

Mr. Stemm died Sunday at Care Inn in Huntingdon after a long illness. He was a retired mechanic for General Motors Buick Division and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mamie Cook of McKenzie.

William Thompson William Henry Thompson, 50, former resident of Jackson, died Sunday at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Arrangements are incomplete with Bledsoe Funeral Home in charge. Lionel Ballard Services for Lionel Ballard, 66, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bledsoe Funeral Home with Father Bill Stelling officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery-Mr.

Ballard, a retired employee of Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad, died Saturday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital after a short illness. Born and reared in Madison County, he was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, rs. Ann B.

Hunt of Jackson; a foster son, Ray Hurst of Baltimore; three grandchildren and a great-grandson. Pallbearers will be M.D. Edmonds, Marion Douglas, James Jones, Ivory Stigall, Nathaniel Bell and Thomas Hodges. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Mildred 'Millie' McWhirter Graveside services for former Jacksonian and author Mrs. Mildred Wasson "Millie" McWhirter will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rid-gecrest Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Piercey officiating.

Griffin Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. McWhirter died Sunday at her home in Cincinnati after a short illness. The daughter of the late Mrs. Lawrence Taylor, Mrs.

McWhirter taught music to Jackson city school students in the 1930s. A graduate of Lambuth College, she was published in many major magazines, including McCalls, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan and Redbook. Her last full novel, "Hushed Were the Hills," was published by Abingdon Press in 1969, a story about her own childhood ex-. perience in Jackson during the depression. Last summer, she was working on a historical novel with a Tennessee setting.

She leaves two sisters, rs. George Waters of Fairhaven, N.J., and Mrs. Betty Pope of Mercer. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: James Stowe, Dr. Billy Crook, Charles Stanfill, Fritz Dittman, George Teer and W.C. Harris. Mrs. Katherine Louise Drummond RUTHERFORD Services for Mrs.

Katherine Louise Drummond, 76, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Karnes and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cool Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Drummond died Sunday in Joliet, 111., after a long illness.

A former resident of Rutherford, she was the widow of Samuel Drummond. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Louise Childrey of Custer Park, a son, Paul Drummond of Arkansas; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith and Mrs. Betsy Hurt, both of Union City.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee Medical School, he was a member of the Northwest Tennessee Academy of Medicine, the Tennessee Medical Association and the American Medical Association.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Brandon of Martin; two sons, Bob Brandon of Martin and Capt. Wayne Brandon of Parris Island, S.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Tucker of Martin and Mrs. Gene Hunt of Jackson.
