She was the wife of the late Melvin K. Hill. She was a waitress for Boulevard Restaurant, Lehighton, before retiring in 1981. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Grover and Lizzie (Solt) Harper. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton.

She was the wife of the late Geza G. Balogh. She was a secretary for various businesses in the Lehigh Valley for 20 years before retiring in 1980. Born in Renovo, Clinton County, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Katrina (Ebert) Reeder. She was a Women's Army Corps veteran of World War II, serving in England and France.

She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and a Girl Scout leader in Bethlehem. Survivors: Sons, Bruce A. of Bethlehem, John A. of Perris, daughter, Susan A. Greathouse of Catasauqua; two grandchildren.

MILTON D. GEORGE Milton D. George, 86, of Allentown, died June 16 in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. He did woodworking and cabinetry. Born in Bowmanstown, he was a son of the late Harvey George and Lucy (Scherer) George Schook, and a stepson of the late Curtis Schook.

Kutztown, Pa 19530 FRANCIS A. BOWE Francis A. Bowe, 81, of Bethlehem, formerly of Hickory Hills, Bath, died June 15 in the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was an accountant for Chase-Manhattan and Manufacturers Hanover Trust both of New York City, for more than 30 years.

Born in New York City, he was a son of the late John and Ellen (McDonnell) Bowe. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem Township. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elmhurst, N.Y. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Elmhurst. Survivors: Brother, John of Oneida, N.Y.; sister, Mary Ann Doherty of Bethlehem; nieces, nephews.

and Mary (Medvecky) Hutnick. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Palmerton. She was a former member of Air Products Bowling League. Survivors: Sister, Justine M.

ELLWOOD SCHNELL Elwood Schnell, 89, of 3120 Mink Road, Kintnersville, died June 16 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. in the beam yards before retiring in 1975. Born in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Levi and Amelia (Beck) Schnell.

He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Zion Hill. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 0242, Quakertown. Survivors: Sister, Marie Sienicki of Bethlehem. Services: memorial, 3 p.m. Sunday, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Zion Hill.

"Ted" Winkler, 85, of Bethlehem, died June 16 in Kirkland Village, Bethlehem. He was married to Marjorie C. (Cousley) Winkler. He was assistant vice president of the research department of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 37 years before retiring in 1979.

He received a bachelor's degree from Penn State University and a doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, both in metallurgical engineering. Born in Johnstown, Cambria County, he was a son of the late Louis H. and Matilda B. Winkler. He was a deacon, trustee and elder of First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem.

He was a member of American Society of Metals, a past committee member of the restoration of the Sun Inn, Bethlehem, past officer and volunteer for the YMCA, Bethlehem, past pack leader for the Cub Scouts and a Mason. Survivors: Wife; sons, Peter B. of Syracuse, N.Y., William of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren. Services: memorial, 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the church.

Reichert, who died in 1998. She and her husband were farmers in Upper Macungie Township before retiring. She was also a bus driver for the Parkland School District for eight years. After retiring, she worked for Grim's Greenhouse and Farm Market Breinigsville. Born in Pike Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Greeley F.

and Katie (Meck) Rohrbach. She was a deacon of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown. She was an officer of Trexlertown Grange and a member of Pomona Grange. Survivors: Daughter, Naomi R. Grim of Breinigsville; two grandchildren.

He was a cryogenic engineer and a consultant in the China trade industry. After retiring, he worked for Wegman's, Allentown. Born in Tianjin, China, he was a son of the late Gen. Lynn Chu and Nora (Hsiung) Chu, and grandson of Hsiung Li Ling, former prime minister of the Republic of China. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Fellowship.

FOX Beulah E. Fox, 91, of 81 Forgedale Road, Rockland Township, died June 17 in Henry Health Care Center of the Lutheran Home, Topton. She was the wife of the late Elmer B. Fox. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Fleetwood Shirt Factory and the former Aster Knitting Mills, Reading, before retiring in the late 1970s.

Born in Rockland Township, she was a daughter of the late Frederick M. and Lizzie D. (Kercher) Keller. She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. Survivors: Daughter, Jean E.

He worked in management and accounting for Cigna Insurance Philadelphia, for 30 years before retiring in 1977. Born James Schneck in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late William H. and Jennie (Swayze) Schneck, and an adopted son of the late Howard and Elizabeth Fritts of Phillipsburg. He was a member of Westminster Prebyterian Church, Phillipsburg. Survivors: Wife; a half brother; six half sisters.
