Miss McGee And Bill Acuff Marry PARIS The wedding of Miss Anna Ruth McGee and Bill F. Acuff took place at the Christian church here at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with Dr. A. S. Baillie, church pastor, officiating.

Attendants were Miss Norma Shearer, a cousin of the bride, and Howard Wills, Jr. Both the bride and groom -are graduates from the Paris school, and the bridegroom a graduate from the State U. -Mrs. Acuff is the daughter of Mrs. Bertha Lou McGee of Paris, a teacher in the rural schools of this for several years and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs.

Mary Acuff, Monroe county school superintendent. He saw! overseas service in War II. i The young couple will leave Sunday for Newark, N. where the bridegroom will begin his duties on a government assignment, made recently and for which he was under training some months ago. -The wedding was attended by only close relatives and friends.

Pleasant Green P-TA To Hold First Meeting first meeting of the Pleasant Green Parent-Teacher Association will be held Wednesday night at the school, beginning at 8 o'clock. William Glasgow O'Fallon, and Chambless Rand Johnston, son of Gale F. Johnston, formerly of Mexico, and Mrs. Johnston of Clayton. The marriage took place Saturday evening at St. John's Methodist Church where many lighted tapers illuminated the flower decorated setting.

The reception after the wedding service was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnston. The bride was gowned in light cream-colored Chantilly lace over satin designed with a scnl- loped portrait neckline on the fitted lace bodice and long lace sleeves, pointed over the hands. An overskirt of the lace, short in front to reveal a double skirt of tulle veilling the satin, extended into a wide circular train.

Lee Mayes Heads Shock-Cox Reunion Held in Centralia Lee Mayes of Centralia was elected president at the 26th annual Shock and Cox reunion held at the American Legion hall in Centralia Sunday with 80 relatives attending. Other officers elected were Marvin Caldwell of Centralia, vice-president; Mrs. Scott Rankin, secretary, re-elected; and Miss Mary Edith Sims of tralia, treasurer, re-elected.

Dinner was served at the noon hour with Mr. Mayes offering the blessing. The business session was presided over by D. P. Craghead of Columbia, retiring vice-president.

Last year's president was the late Jim Henry Weaver. After the group sang 'Blessed Assurance," the Rev. Weldon Foreman gave the invocation. Mr. and Mrs.

C. C. Cox and Larkin Poff were named on the arrangement committee for the 1952 reunion and Mrs. Leslie Culwell, Mrs. Florence Shock and Mrs.

Thomas Cox were appointed to plan naxt year's program. A gift was presented S. P. Crawford as the oldest person attending, and one was given Donna Mae Cox as the youngest. The program, planned by Mrs.

Harry Miller, Mrs. Larkin Poff and Mrs. C. C. Cox, included: piano selections by Nita Frances Hinten of Martinsburg; talk by the Rev.

Mr. Foreman; a skit, 'True in Husbands," with Mrs. Stanley Hinten, and Mrs. Fay Hinten taking part. After the group sang "God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again," the program was closed with prayer by Mrs.
