Sullivan, 75, of Salisbury died peacefully Saturday, April 21, 2007, at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie Dillon had lived in marrying in Marie Sullivan Soboleski.

She Salisbury since 1951. After raising her children, she worked at White and Leonard, and retired from Sears in 2001. She is survived by two daughters, Patti Beauchamp and her husband, Gerald, and Bobbi Henderson and her husband, Tom, all of Salisbury; stepdaughter, Judy Coulson and her husband, Jim, of Lubbock, Texas; eight grandchildren, Crystal Nibblett, Jerry Beauchamp, Ryan Henderson, Kara Shockley, Whitney Carmean, Mike, David and Dana Coulson; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bill Sullivan; and brothers, Ed and Joe Soboleski. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.

i OCEAN PINES Mr. John Joseph Buddy Suggs, 81, of Ocean Pines died Saturday, April 21. 2007. at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, surrounded by family. He was born May 11, 1925, In Walstonburg, N.C., to Moses and Daisy Suggs.

Mr. Suggs was retired from Westlnghouse Electric where he worked for more than 37 years. He was also a World War II veteran, having served on the USS Redstart, AM378, as a U.S. Navy seaman. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Suggs; six children, David Suggs, Carolyn Diefenderfer and husband, David, Karen Kennedy and husband, Mike, Karl Suggs and wife, Michelle, Robert Suggs and wife, Kelly, and Robin Snyder and husband, Steve; three sisters, Lillian Lamm, Margaret Hillard and Jean Speight; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mercer Suggs and Dorothy Bailey Suggs; nine grandchildren, Steven Suggs, Anthony Suggs, Erin Kennedy, Sean Kennedy, Nicole Snyder, Tyler Snyder, Taylor Suggs, Austin Suggs and Rachel Suggs; and one greatgrandchild, Destiny Suggs.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church In Ocean City. The Revs. Harry Wolpert and James Davis will officiate.

William Henry Andolsek OCEAN PINES William Henry Andolsek, 79, of Ocean Pines died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake In Salisbury. Born in Gowanda, N.Y., he was the son of the late Louis and Rose Voncina Andolsek.

Mr. Andolsek served during World War II in the Navy and during the Korean conflict in the Army. He is survived by his wife, Madelyn Leahy Andolsek of Ocean Pines; children, Bill Andolsek of Salt Lake City, Kathie Gallion of Ocean Pines, Maribeth Scutella of Palmyra, N.Y., Nancy Pribyl of Slidell, and Hank Andolsek of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; sister, Elizabeth Gable of Gowanda; brothers, Charles Andolsek of Webster, N.Y., and Raymond Andolsek of Gowanda; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Ryann Scutella and Charles E. Andolsek.

Katherine M. Balk BERLIN Katherine Maren Balk of Berlin died Sunday, April 22, 2007. Beloved wife of William R. Balk; devoted mother of Christine M. Howard, and her husband, Donald, and predeceased by her daughter, Pam J.

Balk; loving sister of Theodore Christensen and his wife, Joanne, and sister, Karen Faecke and her husband, Donnan; predeceased by brothers, Thomas and Richard Christensen; adored grandmother of Megan and Matthew Howard; sister-in-law of Fred Balk and his wife, Joyce, Edward Brunno and late Robert Brunno; also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 21851. Letters of condolences may be sent to the family at LAUREL The Rev. Ruth S. Morris, 86, of Laurel went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 23, 2007, at her home. Ruth was born In Marcus Hook, she was a daughter of the late Lemuel Webster and Alice West Savage.

The Rev. Morris was ordained into the ministry Aug. 9, 1949. She provided a lifetime of faithful service with Wesleyan Church for more than 40 years. She was a charter member of and provided pastoral care at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital In Seaford since 1975, where she was installed Nov.

17, 1975. Mrs. Morris was chosen as Woman of the Year for Wesleyan Women International 1994-1995. She served as district secretary for Delmarva for 21 years. In addition, she taught music lessons for more than 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, whom she married Dec. 21, 1939, the Rev. Joseph Reed Morris, and her brother-in-law, Thomas Redman Morris of Greensboro; her sisters, Kathryn E. Johnson of Cambridge and Mabel L. Huffman of Greenwood; a sister-in-law, Sarah Savage of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Timothy Morris Pritchett of Millsboro and Kathy Lucille Pritchett of Sante Fe, N.M.; four great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, James O'Neal Pritchett of Milton.

Ruth is preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ann Pritchett; and a brother, William Savage. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Laurel Wesleyan Church at 30816 Seaford Road in Laurel, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. There will also be a viewing Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30 at Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home at 700 West St. in Laurel.

21875. Elsie Parks Bradford POCOMOKE CITY Elsie Parks Bradford, 103, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Hartley Hall Nursing Home. Born July 10, 1903, in Miona, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Lydia Miles Parks. Her family later moved to Snow Hill, where she met and married D.

Hargis Bradford. They had one daughter, Ellen Bradford Gladding, who passed away in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hargis, in 1966; and four siblings, W. Marvin, James K. and Harold A.

Parks and Mabel P. Burbage. Mrs. Bradford was a longtime member and faithful servant of Whatcoat United Methodist Church in Snow Hill. She was one of the first hostesses at the Julia A.

Purnell Museum in Snow Hill from 1967 to 1990 and was well-known for her baking, especially her homemade chocolate fudge icing cakes. Mrs. Bradford celebrated her 103rd birthday last July with friends and family in attendance. Mrs. Elsie Bradford is survived by one sibling, Miriam "Mimi" Parsons, who lives in a nursing home in Pennsylvania; a son-in-law, H.

Coston Gladding of Pocomoke City; three grandchildren, Daniel H. Gladding of Vestavia Hills, Ann G. Gasiorek of Marlton, N.J., and Susan G. Carpenter of Ocean City; and three great-grandchildren, Nicole L. and Katherine A.

Christina Nicole Hunter SALISBURY Christina Nicole Hunter, 33, a longtime resident of the Holly Center, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born on Oct. 3, 1973, in flhinrn- Christina Hunter teague she was the daughter of Joan Turner Bowden Dietrich and stepdaughter of James Dietrich, both of Pocomoke City. In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is survived by an uncle, Tee Allen-Turner of Pocomoke City; an uncle and aunt, Ernie and Carol Bowden of New Church; and a second cousin, Erik Finger of Rhode Island.

She will also be missed by her extended family and friends at the Holly Center, who have been her support network for 31 years. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald and Ellen Turner, and Norman and Delia Bowden; great-grandparents, Stanley and Madeline Sirois; and aunt, Lori Jean Hughes; and a great-aunt, Marian Finger. David Halberstam David Halberstam, 73, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author who chronicled the Washington press corps, the Vietnam War generation and baseball, was killed in a car crash early Monday, a coroner said. Halberstam, of New York, was a passenger in a car that was broadsided by another vehicle in Menlo Park, south of San Francisco, San Mateo County Coroner Robert Foucrault said. The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m., and the driver of the car carrying Halberstam identified him as the victim, Foucrault said.

The driver, a student at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, was taken to Stanford Medical Center. Two others were injured. The Associated Press his home. Mr. Miller was a master plumber and owned and operated M. Miller Plumbing and Heating in Washington. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.

He was a member of the Metropolitan Washington Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors, Master Mason of Grand Lodge F.A.A.M. of the District of Columbia, a 32nd-degree Mason with the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J., USA in the Valley of Washington Orient of District Of Columbia, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Capitol Forest 104 and Almas Shriners A.A.O.N.M.S. of Washington and American Legion Wicomico Post 64. Shortly after Pearl Harbor, at the age of 17, he enlisted In the Navy serving for six years and attaining the rank of machinest's mate first class. He often was the commanding watch officer of the engine room.

He beat long odds in World War II, surviving service on three destroyers, the last of which, the USS Baldwin, participated in the Normandy invasion of 1944 by shelling German positions and receiving enemy 88 fire. Previously, he served for months on the extremely hazardous convoy duty In the North Atlantic, where he weathered storms and seas violent enough to "bend ships ladders like pretzels." After D-Day, the Baldwin served as escort to President Roosevelt's voyage to the Yalta Conference, and was then ordered to the Pacific Theatre. She was on her way to join the fleet preparing to invade Japan, when a fire forced her return to Pearl Harbor. The Baldwin received three battle stars for her World War II service. Mr.

Miller once said he literally had forgot- ten more ports visited than he could remember. In addition, Mr. Miller served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre, earning a World War II Victory Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal and the China Service Medal. For his service, he neither requested nor received any disability, though he suffered severe loss of hearing and effects of asbestos from six years of duty in various engine rooms. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Steve and Liz Miller of Arnold, Bobby and Liz Miller of Annapolis, Bonnie and Don Gallagher of Salisbury, Rickey Miller of Jacksonville, and Brenda and Michael Wood of Easton; grandchildren, Robby and Kelly Miller, and their mother, Mary, of Los Vegas; Sara Miller of Florida and her mother, Kathy, Kyle and Courtney Gallagher of Salisbury and Seth Miller of Jacksonville.
