The Council resurrected the Joint eommlV--tee of the PabUe Order and Police Commit-tte and ordered it once more to take charge or the market lease matter. This was on Tuesday night, and last night the committee was called to convene. The faithful of the various parishes throughout the city yesterday celebrated the feast of the Immaculate Conception with great solemnity. Tbe various houses of worship were resplendent with beauty.
