On motion of Mr. Harrison the Item for Michigan City. was Increased from $30,000 to $3500 of tne amount to be used on tbe inner harbor.

Mr. Edmaade moved to strike out of section 8 (which provide for the acquirement by condemnation of land or material necessary in the prosecution of works of improvement) tbe proviso authorizing tbe Secretary ox war, wnen tae price aeaea is reasonaoie, to purchase the property without delay. The year's Spring Meeting promises to be one of the finest held here in years.
