He was a butcher at the former N.T. George Butcher Shop, Orefield, for many years before retiring. Born in Orefield, he was a son of the late Francis and Jennie (Roth) Guth. Survivors: Sister, Son, Robert L. of Macungie R.1; daughters, Shirley wife of Charles Geiger of Brein-igsville, and June wife of Edwin Crout Jr.

of Nazareth; other sisters, Bessie, wife of Henry Krumanocker of Reading R.2, and Hilda, wife of Earl Cunningham of Punta Gorda, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sommons Mrs. Ann E. Sommons, 80, of 3038 Devonshire Road, Allentown, died Wednesday in her home. She was the wife of Harold E. Sommons.

They observed their 59th wedding anniversary last July. She was a buyer for Hess's, Allentown, for more than 25 years until retiring in 1970. She previously worked in the classified advertising department of The Morning Call. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Carrie (Schadt) Erb. of Zionsville R.2; sisters, Evelyn M. of Allentown and Mrs. Grace Tornabel of Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y., and two grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, J.S.

Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Call p.m. Sunday. Allentown man dies after fall at home Jack A. Clewell, 63, of Allentown, died Thursday in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center.

The Lehigh County coroner's office ruled the death accidental due to a fall Clewell suffered Monday at his home. The sub cause was a fractured hip. CTewell was the husband of Claire M. (Miller) Clewell. They observed their 39th wedding anniversary last October.

He was a draftsman for the former Bethlehem Iron Works for 19 years before retiring in 1987. Born in Millville, Columbia County, he was a son of Grace (Hampel) Clewell of Nescopeck, Luzerne County, and the late Frank Clewell. He was a member and former deacon, trustee and Sunday school superintendent of First Mennonite Church, Allentown. Clewell served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Survivors: Wife and mother, sons, Richard L.

and Jon both of Allentown, and James A. of Barto; daughters, Donna wife of Todd E. Spahn of Somerset, Somerset County, Nancy wife of David M. Smith of Allentown, and Melissa I. and Christine both at home; brothers, Robert C.

She was the wife of Walter H. Reis, who died in 1983. She was employed by the Well-Made Blouse Bangor, for 20 years until retiring. Born in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Mary (Sleep) Strauss. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Johnson-ville.

Survivors: Son, Walter at home; daughters, Mrs. Betty J. Ack-erman of Sarasota, Mrs. June I. Ettinger and Mrs.

Marilyn V. Dutt, both of Bangor R.2, and Mrs. Mary E. MacCabe of Florence, N.J.; a brother Glenwood of Bangor, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son Richard predeceased her.

Margaret J. Pasch, 56, of Bangor, died Wednesday in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of Richard Pasch. They co-owned Pasch Refrigeration and Marine Service Route 611, Easton, for the past 33 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Seifert) Ballantyne.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Belvidere. Survivors: Husband; daughter, Patricia Dlugasch of Woodstock, sons, Richard J. of Hutchison, N.J., and Michael J. of Bangor; sister, Patricia Twining of Middleburg, and four grandchildren.

Linde, 88, of 230 E. Susquehanna Allentown, died Thursday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Myrtle V. (Christ) Linde. They were married 60 years last week.

Linda was a cost engineer at Pennsylvania Power Light Co. for 38 years before retiring in 1964. Born in Germany, he was a son of the late Herman O. and Paula (Glau-ser) Linde. He was a member of St.

Pauline S. Bellas Mrs. Pauline S. Bellas, 48, of 1179 Smith Gap Road, Bath, died Thursday in her home. Northampton County Coroner Joseph F.

Reichel ruled the death natural. She was the wife of Harold V. Bellas. She was a sewing machine operator for Fashions by Danielle, Pen Argyl, until last year. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Gower) Fehnel.

Survivors: Husband; daughters, Wanda Grogg of Pen Argyl, Karen, wife of Floyd Werner of Easton, Bonnie Strohl of Allentown and Carol, wife of Samuel Kolesnik of Tioga, Tioga County; brothers, Charles of Bath, Henry of Slatington and Earl of Easton; sister, Mrs. Ida Lahr of Lehighton, and four grandchildren. Sunday. Lenore Kellow, 84; taught in Bangor area and Washington Twp. Mrs. Lenore Ueberroth Kellow, 84, of 16 Applegate Pen Argyl, died Thursday in the Slate Belt Medical Center. She was the wife of J.

Harvey Kellow, who died in March. A retired teacher, she taught in Washington Township and the Bangor Area School District. Also, she was a special education teacher at Dr. R.M. Taylor School, Hellertown, and a substitute teacher in the Pen Argyl School District.

She was a 1926 graduate of Moravian College and did graduate work in special education at Muhlenberg College. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Harvey M. and Mary (Schnabel) Ueberroth. She was a member of St.

He was a pipe fitter for Steamfit-ters Local 475 until retiring in 1981. A 1937 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, he played on its state championship football team in 1936 and was team captain in 1937. He graduated from Lafayette College in 1949. Erma V. Gossler Mrs. Erma V. Gossler, 85, formerly of 1934 Chew Allentown, died Wednesday in North Penn Convalescent Center, Lansdale. She was the wife of Harry D.

Gossler. They observed their 64th wedding anniversary last October. Born in Vera Cruz, Upper Milford Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Julia (Merkle) Mill. She was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Survivors: Husband; sons, John W. and Richard both of North Wales, Montgomery County; daughters, Evelyn wife of William M. Moatz and Mrs. Betty J. Kern, and a brother Howard, all of Allentown; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was the wife of Charles E. Beidleman and the widow of Harold G. Miller. She and her second husband observed their 22nd wedding anniversary in February. She was a sub-assembler at the former Allentown plant of General Electric retiring in 1966 with 17 years service.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Haffner) Deutsch. She was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown. Survivors: Husband; daughters, Jeanette wife of Herbert F. Smith of Allentown, and Dorothy wife of Frederick Ernes, and Gladys wife of Robert Schnecker, both of Bethlehem; sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Cunningham and Bertha, wife of John linger, both of Whitehall Township; stepson, Charles G.

Paul W. Lyle Sr. Paul W. Lyle 70, of Holland Township, Milford R.1, N.J., died Wednesday in Warren Hospital. He was the husband of Elinor M.

(Du-vall) Lyle. A millwright by trade, he worked in the Riegelsville mill of the former Riegel Products Corp. for 47 years before retiring in 1977. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Etta (Thar-an) Lyle. He was a member of St.

Peter's Lutheran Church, Riegelsville. Survivors: Wife; son, Paul W. Jr. of Finesville, N. brother Charles of Easton R.4; sisters, Marion Dolan of Philadelphia and Dora Fink of Doylestown, and two grandchildren.

Younger Mrs. Marjorie G. Younger, 73, of Macungie R.1, died Wednesday in Zohlman Nursing Home, Richland-town. She was the wife of Robert R. Younger.

She was an inspector at the former Skyline Orchards, Seisholtzville. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Ella S. (Walters) Troxell. She was a member of St.

Elsie H. Kemmerer Mrs. Elsie H. Schuler Kemmerer, 87, of 1748 Peachtree Circle, Whitehall Township, died Thursday in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the widow of Nevin P.

Kemmerer and Nevin P. Schuler. She was a sewer at Emmaus Pa-jama Co. for many years before retiring. She also was a cafeteria worker in the East Penn School District.

Born in Zionsville, she was a daughter of the late John and Ida (Deisher) Rothenberger. She was a choir member and superintendent of the Sunday school primary department at Old Zionsville United Church of Christ. Survivors: Daughters, Annabelle, wife of Harold A. Reitnauer of Boy-ertown, and Marietta, wife of the Rev. Aaron W.

Clark, 77, of 101 N. 7th Allentown, died Thursday in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Nellie E. (Burgess) Clark. They observed their 52nd wedding anniversary in February.

Clark was a laborer at Blossburg (Tioga County) Foundries for 30 years before retiring in 1965. Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, he was a son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Humpstead) Clark. Born in Bath, he was a son of Charles A. Remaley of Bath and the late Ellen A. (Wagner) Remaley. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. He served in the Army.

Newcomer, 85, formerly of Fleetwood, died Wednesday in Independence Terrace retirement home, Womelsdorf. He was the husband of Olive A. (Gall) Newcomer. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary last month. Newcomer was general manager of Berks-Lehigh Cooperative Fruit Growers marketing fruit products under the Red Cheek label, before retiring in 1967 with 29 years' service.

Born in Centreville, he was a son of the late Rev. John C. and Celeste E. (Brackett) Newcomer. He was a past secretary of the National Peach Council, and at one time, was an inspector for the U.S.

Department of Agriculture. Newcomer was firstpresident of the Fleetwood Rotary Club, receiving its Paul Harris Fellow award in 1985. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. He was a 1926 graduate of the University of Maryland, with a bachelor of science degree in pomology.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Margaret N. Brown of Womelsdorf; son, Daniel G. of Pennside, Berks County, sister, Mary Louise Moore of Hat-boro; brother, John N. of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and a grandson. Services: 10:30 a.m.
