The father ot the deceased, wn resides In Hancock county called at the hospital last evening and requested per-mlasloa to remove the body to his home, on Pearl River, Miss. This request could, ho w-ever, not be granted until the Coroner had held au inquest oa the body. The elder Bennett then repaired to the Chief office in search of the Coroner. He corroborated the statement made by Lis son to a reporter of the Picayune, relative to the assertlun that Joseph Bennett, the deceased, had not killed Lavid McQueen, but that Joeeph'e cousin, Francis Beunett, had killed the wan.
