James Witherington. Mrs. Ralph Lasater is visiting the family of her son, SSgt. James F. Lasater, in Biloxi, Miss.

Mrs. Eric CampbeH spent Tuesday in Memphis. Bud Taylor the weekend with his family here. Sandra Hams, Mary Anne masses of bright yellow buttercups. The arriving guests were served a dessert course of pineapple party cake with coffee, and later, salted nuts and cold drinks.

Wade Davidson and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Summar. Mr. Davidson visited his niece, Mrs.

Edward Workman. Mrs. Harold White and mother, Mrs. Hessie Wiley, visited Mrs. White's great-grandmother, Mrs.

Sallie Ward, in Union City. Mrs. Ward, 97, is critically ill. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Lewis of Apopka, have recently moved to Memphis where Mr. Lewis is in training to become a supervisor for the Southern Bell Telephone Co. Mrs. Lewis will be remembered as Julia Beaumont, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Rudolph Beaumont of this city. Mr. and Mrs. David Fairless and Haguewood, Broecksie King, Charlotte Baird, Ray King, John Brooks, Jerry Rochelle, Jimmy Haguewood, Jo Siler, Doris Cun ningham, Rosalie Karnes, Tresia Kerr, Melba Jean Sims, Shirley open til 5:30 Mon. William Gates of Grenada, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Warner Henry Shu-gart of Fordyce, Ark. The bridegroom-elect was graduated from Central High School, Memphis. He served two years in the Army as a military policeman stationed in Germany.
