They received fifth place in their event. They are from left: Keri Palfreyman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Palfreyman; Tiffany Palmer, high individual, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Palmer and Stacey Stansf ield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Stansfield. The Springville High School FFA Soil Judging Team participated in the Snow College Field Judging Days. They placed second in the state. Members of the team are from left: Nichole Phillips, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Phillips; Jason Childs, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Childs, 4th high individual; Paul Houtz. son of Mr. and Mrs. Lvnn A. Houtz; Cy Everett, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Everett, 5th high individual, and Greg Miner, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Miner. FFA chapter gets honors The Springville FFA Chapter received National Honors at the National FFA Convention held in Kansas City, Missouri on November 13 through 16 for their Building Our American Communities. B.O.A.C. Springville High was one of four schools in Utah to receive this award. They received a bronze medal and certificate that was presented to Tiffany Palmer and Jason Childs, Springville High School FFA delegates. The chapter's project was their Sub-for -Santa that helped several families in the Springville-Mapleton area to receive a good Christmas last year.
