Dec. 12 Dr. C. B. Jackson of Dallas, will meet with Baptist leaders today to discuss plans for a simultaneous revival crusade in 18,000 Baptist churches.

Dr. Jackson, associate superintendent of the department of evangelism of the General Baptist Convention in Texas, said the "Eastern Simultaneous Crusade" was prompted by a need for "a spiritual reawakening in America." The crusade will include churches east of the Mississippi River. Lear, inventor of hundreds of devices ranging from one of the first automobile radios to the miniature motors that operated the engine cowl flaps on B-29s during World War II, believes that eventually men will be eliminated completely from fighter-plane interception missions. "In my lifetime, I expect to be working on pilotless fighter planes, flown in satellite formations from a single mother ship," he predicted. "The human pilot in the mother ship will simply bring the satellites within the range of the enemy and take off. "The satellites then will track down the enemy and fight him to destruction all with completely automatic controls."
