Lotteries Obituaries Delores D. Bowden Salisbury council swamped by 4 to 2 housing plan foes William R. "Bill" Adkins POCOMOKE CITY William R. "Bill" Adkins, 64, of Pocomoke City, passed away at Vtntno tn tho law could double the demand for rental homes and will hurt low-income people if it is imposed citywide. Students oppose the measure as well, which they say infringes on their right to share a house with friends.

"We've improved our homes, to the point that I've gone into debt to do so," said Kevin Adams, a county resident who owns several rental houses. "I've been made to feel like a criminal because of what's going on." Landlords clearly outnumbered residents at the hearing, the third on the issue. Several more will likely be held. Homeowners supporting the change also turned out "I resent the fact that I live next to a commercial said resident Jim Doyle. "If the college needs our neighborhood, let them buy it." Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Razors rigged with explosives injure men TROY, NY. (AP) Electric razors that had been rigged with explosives blew up in the faces of two men, wounding both, authorities say. Federal and local investigators urged shoppers to be careful when buying electric razors, and to call authorities if they see a razor left in a public place. Sheriff Dan Keating said the razors were similarly rigged.

He said whoever tampered with them replaced wires, took out batteries and put gunpowder in the razors. The two explosions happened about seven months apart. In the first incident, on March 27, Hosea Crumpler of Troy found what appeared to be a new razor in a black case in a McDonald's restroom, police said. On Oct. 12, a man bought a different brand razor at a store in Bennington, Vt, 30 miles from Troy, and it exploded when it was plugged in at his home in John-sonville, investigators said.
