POLICE DEATHS Check charge hearing reset for Wind Gap youth A hearing for a Wind Gap youth charged with forging a stolen check has been continued until 3 p.m. Nov. 29 before District Magistrate Fred Reinhart of Wind Gap. Daryn Fleming, 18, of Route 512, was released under $1,000 bail after police charged him with trying to cash a forged check for $110 on Sept. 26 at the Food Lane branch of Pen Argyl National Bank in Wind Gap.

Mrs. Alden Rush Mrs. Dorothy B. Rush, 61, of 6 Chip Lane, New Smyrna Beach, Fla. died Thursday in Fish Memorial Hospital, New Smyrna Beach.

She was the wife of Alden Rush. She and her husband were original owners of Rush's Ceramic Workshop, Stewartsville, N.J. Born in Williams Township, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Mary (Young) Bowers. Surviving with her husband are a son Jerry in Hawaii, a sister. Mrs.

Donald Cole of Stewartsville, and three grandchildren. Services were Friday in New Smyrna Beach. Mrs. Laura Feather Mrs. Laura Feather, 73, of 29 S.

5th Emmaus, was dead on arrival at the Allentown and Sacred Heart Hospital ter Friday after being stricken during a senior citizens' meeting in Emmaus. Mrs. Feather was a dispatcher for the Emmaus Cab Co. before retiring in 1971. Before that she worked for Rodale Press Inc.

Emmaus, for many years. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late George and Sallie (Bender) Hallman. She was a member of Evangelical Congregational Church, Emmaus. Surviving are a daughter Faye, wife of Garfield Heffnerof Allentown; two sisters. Thelma, wife of Joseph Faust of Sumneytown and Grace, wife of John Bloch of Allentown; two brothers, Thomas of East Greenville and George of Souderton; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Horace W. Schantz Funeral Home, 3rd and Main streets, Emmaus. A calling hour will precede the services. Dionne quintuplets' father dead at 71 CORBEIL, Ontario AP The three surviving Dionne quintuplets made a rare return home Friday to attend the funeral of their father, Oliva Dionne, from whom they had been estranged many years.

Elzire Dionne, the 71-year-old mother of the five celebrated girls, has been ill for many years and was not among the 150 mourners who attended the funeral service at a local Roman Catholic Church. Dionne died in a hospital here early Thursday of natural causes. He was 76. The three famous sisters, Cecile, Annette and Yvonne, of St. Bruno, a suburb of Montreal, went almost unnoticed as they entered the modest church at the crest of one of many hills on the rolling, snow-covered countryside.

The two other quints Emilie and Marie are dead. Emilie suffocated during an epileptic seizure when she was 19 and Marie died in 1970 from a blood clot in the brain. A landslide of publicity that followed the quints' birth May 28, 1934, and the circus-like life style they led, caused family friction. In 1952 the quints left home for good, maintaining only loose ties with their parents. Burglary, theft charges dismissed for Easton men Burglary and theft charges filed against two Easton men were dismissed by Easton District Magistrate David Reibman yesterday for lack of evidence.

The charges grew out of break-ins Sept. 22 and Aug. 15 at the White Sewing Center, 209 Northampton St. Easton. Reibman ruled that police failed to link Robert Claus, 20, of 124 S.

11th St. and Robert Driscoll, 39, of 34 S. 5th to the burglaries. Claus was accused of taking a television set, eight-track tape recorder, calculator, a scanning radio and other items, and Driscoll was charged with taking a radio. Charles A.

Reinoehl Charles A. Reinoehl, 69, of 1924 E. Cedar Allentown, died Thursday in the Bethlehem Northampton County Deputy Coroner Harlan C. Hinkle attributed the death to natural causes. Reinoehl was a machinist for SARCO Company, Allentown.

for 45 years before retiring in 1977. Born in Jim Thorpe, he was a son of Amelia S. (Schoenfeldt I Reinoehl of Ce-darbrook. Allentown R.2. and the late Charles H.

Reinoehl. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. 1933 Hanover Allentown. Surviving with his mother are a brother, Frederick C.W.

of Allentown, and a sister, Ruth wife of Raymond G. Amiconeof Chambersburg, Franklin County. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Kulik Funeral Home, 426 Hanover Allentown. Calling hours will be 2-3 p.m.

Rau. 75. of 247 N. 8th Allentown, died Friday in her home. She was the widow of Frank A.

Rau. Mrs. Rau was a sewing machine operator for Richard's Sportswear. Allentown. before retiring in 1969.

Born in Newtown, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. and Clara (Nagel) Osman. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Allentown. Surviving are a sister Catherine, wife of Alvin Mattern of Wilmington, and two brothers, Arthur J. and Paul both of Minersville.

Services will be at 1 30 p.m Monday in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. A calling hour will precede the services. Raymond J. Holben Raymond J.

Holben, 66, of 750 W. Base Line Road, Travel Trailer Resort. Tempe. died Friday in Tempe Hospital. He was the husband of Nevada Walbert Holben.

Holben was the proprietor of a hotel and restaurant in Sun Valley, Holbrook, before retiring last year. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harold and Emma (Grim) Holben. He was a member of Shepherd of the Desert United Church of Christ, Mesa. Ariz. Holben was a past president of the Mountainville Lions Club.

Surviving with his widow are two sons, Roy L. of Bernsville, and Donald R. of San Diego, three daughters, Shirley, wife of Stanley Reith of Emmaus R.l, Jean, wife of Russell Rassmussen, in the state of Washington and Barbara, wife of Jerome Bixler of Slatington R.4, and 15 grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Horace W.

Schantz Funeral Home, 3rd and Main streets, Emmaus. Calling hours will be Monday. Eldred A. Graybill Eldred A. Graybill, 85, of 13500 Chef-menteur Highway, New Orleans, formerly of 130 Chew Allentown, died Thursday in Touro Infirmary, New Orleans.

He was the husband of the late C. Margaret (Hoffman) Graybill. He was a machinist for the former Aldrich Pump Allentown, for 30 years before retiring in 1964. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Samuel H. and Ida (Roth) Graybill.

He was a member of Calvary Temple. Allentown. Surviving are a son, Arthur E. of New Orleans; a sister, Mrs. Cele G.

White of Lakewood. N.J.: two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, N.J.

Chapman, 89, of 716 George Pen Argyl, died Friday in the Muhlenberg Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Emma (Radcliffe) Chapman. He operated a general store in Chapman for many years until retiring 22 years ago. Born in Chapman, he was a son of the late William Nelson and Lucy (Edelman) Chapman. He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, Allentown.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lena Engler of Pen Argyl and Mrs. Mana Wagner of Bath, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bartholomew Funeral Home, 243 S.

Walnut St. Bath. A calling hour will precede the services. Bethlehem fire loss figured at $5,000 A fire, possibly caused by a discarded cigarette, produced $5,000 damage to two homes at 1727-1729 E. 13th Bethlehem, Thursday night.

Fire officials said the blaze started-in a mattress in the basement of an abandoned home at 1729 E. 13th St. and spread up the walls to both floors of this home before breaking into the ceiling of the kitchen at the home of Mrs. Anna Vasquez, next door. Patrolman Ronald Stiffinella said Mrs.

Vasquez and Mrs. Maria Gonzales were returning home when they noticed heavy smoke in the area. Mrs. Gonzales' husband, Jose, was babysitting in the home and had already evacuated five children. Stiffinella said they complained of smoke inhalation but refused treatment.

Helen M. Weaver, 90, of Slatington R.2, died Friday in Palmerton Hospital. She was the widow of Eli L. Weaver Sr. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late August and Sarah (Zerrer) Buerschoper.

She was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem. Surviving are three sons, Thomas and William, both of Allentown, and Charles of Bethlehem; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Schew of Slatington and Mrs. June Hulsizer of Applebachsville; 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 11a.m.

Monday in the Snyder-Hmkle Funeral Home, 527 Center St. Bethlehem. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Mrs.

Sally Frantz Mrs. Sally Frantz, 92, of Cedarbrook, Allentown R.2, formerly of Slatington, died Friday in the home. She was the widow of Henry E. Frantz. Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late George and Maggie Brown.

Surviving are five daughters, Violet, wife of Earl Kohler of Catasauqua, Catherine, wife of Herbert Stettler of Bethlehem, Irene, wife of Kenneth Jones of Danielsville, and Ruth, wife Of Mark Troxel and Emma, wife of Allen Rimer, both of Slatington; a son John, address unknown; 39 grandchildren; 83 greatgrandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 30 p.m. Tuesday in the George M. Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd Slatington.

Paoli Allentown, died Friday in Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex. He was the husband of Frances (Schell Rennig. Rennig worked for the former Traylor Engineering Allentown, for 26 years before retiring in 1963. Born in Hokendauqua, he was a son of the late Henry and Clara (Grubb) Rennig. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Allentown.

He was a Navy veteran of World War I. His widow is his only immediate survivor. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Bachman Funeral Home, 1030 Walnut Allentown. Calling hours will be p.m.
