AVIATION COURSES FROM PAINFUL BACKACHE Many of those gnawing, nagging, painful backache people blame on colds or strain are often caused by tired kidneys and may be relieved when treated in the right way. The kidneys are Nature's chief way of taking excess acids and poisonous waste out of the blood. Most people pass about 3 pints a day or about 3 pounds of waste. Frequent or scanty passages with smarting and burning shows there may be something wrong with your kidneys or bladder. If the 15 miles of kidney tubes and filters don't work well, poisonous waste matter stays in the blood.

These poisons may start nagging backaches, rheumatio pains, loss of pep ana energy, getting up nights, swelling, puffines under the eyes, headaches and disiiness. Don't wait! 1. (Commissioner of Education Halbert Harvili expressed interest today in the possibility of the University of Tennessee providing aviation courses for students in line with a national plan to develop civilian fliers. "I'd be glad for the University of Tennessee to provide such training for its students if government funds are provided," he said. "Aviation is coming to the front more and more, especially as a matter of national defense. Harvili pointed out that authority for such an undertaking would have to be given by the university's board of directors and said that as an ex-officio member of the board he would be glad to bring the matter up when it meets at Memphis Saturday.

The decision was made at a meeting today of treasury and Federal Reserve Board officials after a survey of market conditions. The securities' to be refunded are one and one-half per cent notes due next March 15. They will be taken up ahead of maturity in accordance with a recent treasury policy of anticipating maturities so as to leave future financing dates free for "new money" financing in case market conditions should discourage joint new money and refunding financing at the same time. 1 -j No announcement was made about the type "of securities to be sold for the $700,000,000 and to be exchanged for the March notes. These details' will be made public Monday morning.

The borrowing will bring to a total of $1,500,000,000 the total the amount raised so far this fiscal year by the treasury to finance the anticipated $4,000,000,000 deficit to be incurred as a result of the emergency spending program for relief and public works authorized by the last Congress.
