DEATHS Mrs. Viola Davis Mrs. Viola E. Davis, 74, of 524 Ore Bowmanstown, died Friday in her home. She was the widow of Harry T.

Davis. Born in Lower Towamensing Township, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Laura (Eck) Remaley. Mrs. Davis was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Bowmanstown.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary, wife of Nevin Farber of Bowmanstown, and Ruth, wife of Marvin Beidleman of Lehighton R.l; two sons, James at home, and David E. in Germany; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Freeby, and a brother Oscar, both of Palmerton, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church.

Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Monday in the T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Palmerton, and 1 p.m. Tuesday until the services in the church. Mrs.

Frank Keller Mrs. Sabina Keller, 83, of 1000 Chestnut Coplay, died Friday in Allentown Hospital. She was the wife of Frank Keller. Mrs. Keller was a domestic service worker for many years before retiring in 1958.

Born in Austria, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Marie (Geider) Babos. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. Surviving with her husband is a brother Karl in Austria. Services at 9 a Tuesday in the Robert A.

Hauke Funeral Home, 4th and Chestnut streets, Coplay, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9. 30 a.m. in the church. Calling hours will be 7-8: 30 p.m. Monday.

DaleE. Kester Dale E. Kester, 63, of New Orleans, formerly of Allentown, died Friday in Methodist Hospital, New Qrleans. A retired draftsman, he was the husband of Nannette Reigel Kester. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl S.

and Margarite (Spettler) Kester. Surviving are three sons, Gary E. of Allentown, Alan R. of Waveland, Miss. -and Earl a daughter, Mrs.

Lucinda Barth, and four grandchildren. Private services will be by the Tharp Sontheimer Laudumiey Funeral 5001 Chesmenteur Highway, New Orleans. Mrs. Franklin Strohl Mrs. Beatrice H.

Strohl, 63, of 509 White St. Bowmanstown, died Thursday in Sacred Heart Hospital. She was the wife of Franklin R. Strohl Sr. Born in East Penn Township, she was a daughter of the late Calvin W.

and Lizzie Haberman) Ginder. Mrs. Strohl was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bowmanstown. She was a former cha irman of the American Heart Fund, Bowmanstown. Mrs.

Strohl was vice president of the Bowmanstown Branch of the Palmerton Hospital auxiliary. Surviving with her husband are three sons. Franklin Jr. of New Tripoli R.l Ronald R. of Reading and David W.

of Corning, N. Y. four sisters, Ruth, wife of Jack Anthony of Lehighton, Fern, wife of Earl Williams of Bethlehem, Raydell, wife of William Wagner of Palmerton, and Marion, wife of Allen Hahn of Thurmont, Md. a brother Marvin of Lehighton R.l, nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Delvert Snyder Mrs. Helen A. Snyder, 64, of Palmerton 1 died Friday in Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton. She was the wifeof Delvert Snyder and the late William "Bui-' ly" Graver, who died in 1959. Born in East Penn Township, She was a daughter of the late Charles and Elmira Bowman) Bowman.

Mrs. Snyder was a member of Dinkey Memorial Church, Ashfield. Surviving with her husband are a daughter Judith, wife of William Ardella of Lehighton; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Morey of Allentown, Mrs. Hilda Kratzer of Jim Thorpe and Mrs.

Pauline Beers of Lehighton, and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the William A. Garrett Funeral Home, 3rd and Alum streets, Lehighton. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.

Ley, 51, of 426 Birch Road, Hellertown, died Thursday in her home. was the wife of John W. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of William J. and Ruth (Ihlenfeld) Werner of Springfield, Delaware County. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown.

Surviving with her husband are a son, Lt. Gary W. Ley with the Navy in Norfolk, and a grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main Hellertown.

Calling hours will be Monday evening. Anthony Marino Anthony Marino, 88, of 731 Market Bangor, died Thursday in Stroud Manor, East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the late Mary Menecola Marino, who died in 1936. Maino worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. before retiring in 1952 years ago.

Born in Roseto Valfortore, Italy, he was a son of the late Joseph and Rosa Marino. He was an Army veteran of World War Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Matilda Grande of Pen Argyl; a son, Anthony Jr. of Allentown a sister, Josephine Marino of Bangor R.3; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be private.

's Dixie Cup Division, died Thursday in St. Luke's Hospital. He began in 1930 as a belt boy at Dixie's Wilson plant and advanced to Dixie's production supervisor and national waste control manager. He retired ion 1968 as waste control coordinator at the Wilson plant. He previously was employed by the Taylor-Wharton Palmer, and the former C.

K. Williams Easton. He was the husband of Margaret (Light-cap) Beidelman Fuller. Born in Bellows Falls, he was a son of the late Charles and Sara (Smith) Fuller. A life member of Easton's Industrial Management Club, he received its highest recognition award in 1962.

He was club president 1946-57. He worked for the Community Chest campaign 1940-54, as chairman of the organizations division in 1951 and labor-industry division in 1952. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson. Surviving with his widow is a sister, Mrs. Helen MacDonald of Edelman, Plainfield Township.

Services will be at 2 30 p. m. Sunday in the church. There will be no calling hours. The Clements Funeral Home, Easton, is in charge of the arrangements.

Lee Podnieks Lee Podnieks, 49, of 1502 Turner St. Allentown, died Friday in his home. Podnieks worked for the Holan a division of Ohio Brass Allentown, lor 15 years before retiring in 1975. Born in Riga, Latvia, he was a son of the late Adolph and Anna (Carkaloff Podnieks. Surviving are three sons, Anthony and David, both of Allentown, and Gregory of New York City.

Services wiil be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. The J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown, is in charge of arrangements. Amandus T.

Marsh Amandus T. Marsh, 89, of Danielsville, died Friday in his home. He was the husband of the late Elda Mae (Kromer) Marsh. He worked for the Atlas Cement Co. Northampton, and as a section crew member for the former Lehigh and New England Railroad before retiring in 1945.

Born in Moore Township, Northampton County, he was a son of the late George and Sarah Jane Reph Marsh. Surviving are four daughters, Laura L. and Gertrude with whom he resided, Mrs. Stella Mae Filchnerof Allentown, and Katie wife of Albert Danner of Danielsville; two sons, Ralph T. of Fort Worth, Tex.

and Rov R. of Schnecksville a brother Quillas of Danielsville, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 1 a.m. Wednesday in the Clinton R. Diefenderjfer Funeral Home.

Hattie V. Knaut, 80, of The Lutheran Home at Topton, died Thursday in the home. She was the widow of Ray Knaut. She worked for Luden's Candy Reading, before retiring. Born in Rextown, Washington Township, she was a daughter of the late Lovanus and Elizabeth Rex Roth.

Surviving are a sister Justine, wife of Woodrow Spengler of Allentown two brothers, Charles of Whitehall and Henry of Coplay, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland Allentown. Calling hours will be 9: 30 a until the services. Mrs.

Mary DeFulvio Mrs. Mary DeFulvio, 93, of 554 N. New Bethlehem, died Friday in St. Luke's Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph DeFulvio, who died in 1974.

Born in Italy, she was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Surviving are three sons, G. Celia Rodgersof Carney, N.J., and 11 grandchildren. Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Hartley Miller Funeral Home, 7527 Harford Road, Baltimore, and at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Calling hours will be 3-5 p.m.
