BRIIGETON Through the efforts of the Cunberland County office of the Divjsioi of Aging, the Lanchs Taxicab Compai 18 south west Boulevard, Vine-land, ll offer a 10 per cent reduction for senior citizens of Vineland between 10 a and 2 p.m. daily. Mrs. Misono Miller, executive director of the aging office, says a registration drive is under way and distribution of registration cards, required for the new service, will begin in about a week.

Residents over 62 may register by contacting the Division of Aging office at the court house in Bridgeton. Identification cards showing eligibility will be mailed from the aging office directly to the registrants. Mrs. Miller expresses hope the program will be a success and generate enough new business for the company to permit further reduction. The director of the aging office is planning negotiations with other cab companies in the city to broaden the senior citizen fare reduction program.

Phone 692-1100 Eelsea Mext: Td'Shop-Rite 2 BUENA Republican Mayor Daniel Muccio and Democratic Councilman Joseph Pustizzi both candidates for re-election, clashed last night over the recently completed Central ave. reconstruction project. Muccio denied allegations that the repaying project was financed by the borough.

He maintained that the work was completed on a county road and paid for by county funds. "This project did not cost the borough one cent over our regular assessment," Muccio said. Pustizzi charged that the borough's county tax assessment increased by $2,500 last year and claimed that the borough has paid $1.2 million in county taxes during the past 10 years. "It's about time we got something in return," Pustizzi said. In other business Muccio announced that the borough has been granted $13,116 under the Emergency Employment Act.

Council members agreed to consider the mayor's suggestion that the funds be used to hire two full time police officers. The council agreed to cooperate with the Cub Scouts in their bottle collection program and donate funds from the program to the Neil Sikking Fund. The borough road department will deliver the collected bottles to a local glass SALES ENDS SATURDAY I GE ADVENTURER 74 PORTABLE TELEVISION TOTAL SOUND IN MEDITERRANEAN MOOD 12" Diagonal measure viewing area Private earphone and jack High gain VHF tuner Up-Front controlsfront sound toW Suit hwjmu rvn mi alaaAaa. al lata, at-tixta mi triala IMn.
