Tuesday Evening, May 11,1937 LOGANSPORT PHAROS-TRIBUNE PAGE THREE "September Morn" Creator Dies After Long Illness One Of Europe's Greatest Painters Of Nudes Succumbs In Paris Monday. PARIS--Paul Chabas. 68, creator of "September Morn" and one of Europe's greatest painters of nudes died Monday after a long illness. An advocate of "chastity in art," Chabas portayed on canvas dreds of naked girls and young hung on the wall of his studio near two beautiful portraits of. his wife who died a few years ago.

Chabas never revealed the model's name, but said she was happily married and the mother of three children.
