Salisbury, Md. Aug. 7, 1985 THE DAILY TIMES 11 1 Miss Morgan Is Bride Of Mark Granger (j i' 1 1 -'x f- -d 4 carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis with intertwining ivy. Cathy Wheatley Silva of Salisbury was the matron of honor. Her full-length gown of pink organdy over tissue taffeta had an off-the-shoulder lace neckline and a lace ruffle at the hemline.

She carried a cascade of red roses, pink lilies and baby's breath with ivory streamers. H. Lee Granger of Salisbury was best man for his brother. Ushers were Keith Ennis and Thomas Phillips of Salisbury. Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of James M.

Bennett Senior High School, she in 1983 and he in 1981. She attended Salisbury State College and is employed by the United Bank of Virginia in Richmond. He was graduated in 1985 from Lynchburg, College with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and is employed in Richmond as a staff accountant with Mitchell Wiggins and Co. The newlyweds, living in Richmond, plan to take a cruise to the Bahamas in the fall. SALISBURY Jacqueline Re-nee Morgan and Mark Linwood Granger were married in Bethany Lutheran Church here in a setting of palms, red roses, baby's breath and pink lilies.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Morgan of South Pinehurst Avenue and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Gene H. Granger of Nithsdale Drive, all of Salisbury. The Rev. Edwin Thress performed the nuptials on July 20. Ron Linkswiler was the organist and was also the soloist.

Accompanying him on the organ was Lisa iller. Both are from here. A garden reception was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin gown adorned with re-embroidered Alencon lace and seed pearls on a basque waistline bodice. It also had pouf satin sleeves and a slipper-length full skirt that flared to chapel-length.

Her lace-trimmed cathedral-length veil of illusion was caught to a lace-trimmed Camelot cap and she Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Granger 'If rmmm gjjPJ Runner-Up Named Mr. and Mrs.

There were 80 girls representing Maryland, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Seven were from Maryland. The 80 finalists were picked from 500 applicants. DANNEMANN FABRICS CRAFTS fr SALISBURY Catherine Agnes Johnson, daughter of Alfred and Catherine Johnson of Salisbury, and Keith Detrow Byers, son of Wayne and Patricia Byers of Chambersburg, were married in St. Ann's Catholic Church in Hagerstown. The Rev. James R.

Schaefer performed the nuptials at 11 a.m. on June 22. Shirley DeStefeno and Patricia Griffin of Baltimore were the readers. A reception followed in the Hagerstown home of the bridegroom's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs.

Christopher Nelson. The bride's floor-length gown was fashioned with a thistle design, had a high split collar, long sleeves and cathedral-length train. Her hat, covered with 'embroidered organza, held a fingertip-length veil of illusion. Karen Nelson of Hagerstown, sister of the bridegroom, was the matron of honor. Douglas Toslen of Chambersburg was best man.

Ushers were Eric Byers, brother of the: bridegroom, and Alan Hogg and Tom Zullinger, all of -Cham-1 bersburg. The bride, a graduate of Mardela High School, received her bachelor of science and her master of science degrees from Loyola College in Baltimore and is employed at the Brook Lane Psychiatric Center in Smithville, Md. Her husband, who holds a bachelor of science degree from Pennsylvania State University and a master of science degree from Shippensburg State University, is employed at the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg. HONORED Gregory Murray of Berlin has been named to the president's list at Devry Institute of Technology, Columbus, Ohio. ATTENDS CENTER Laura Murray of Salisbury is attending Brevard Music Center this summer. She is the daughter of Dorette and Larry Murray and will be a sophomore at Catholic University in the fall. She is studying violin, participating in performing ensembles and also attending classes and seminars during the seven-week festival. RECOGNIZED Robin J.

Insley of Salisbury has received honors for the spring term at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Philip Insley of Tony Tank, Salisbury. GOAT ROAST SATURDAY The Men of Mt.

Olive AME Church in Fruitland will sponsor a goat roast and chicken barbeque on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. at Dashiell's Well Drilling Co. at Broadway and Pine Street in Fruitland. The goat will be curried by Kenneth McCarthy of Allen. Dinner will be $3.50 and may be eaten there or carfy-outs will be available.
