Rev Joseph Turek is the pastor. Grange Picnic At Ridgeview STATE Pa. (AP) State Secretary of Agriculture Jim McHale has proposed a' 10-point plan 'to aid the family farmer. McHale disclosed the plan at Pennsylvania State IJpiver- sity, where he appeared Wednesday night with James Hightower of the Food fiction Council in Washington, Both men blamed agribusiness, food conglomerates and government policy for actions that ultimately hurt the local farmer and led to higher'food prices for the consumer. Specifically cited was last year's sale of wheat to Russia, which came after most farmers had already sold their grain at significantly lower prices than grain dealers were subsequently able to charge.

Both also attacked agricultural research program's at Penn State and other schools for accelerating the role of big business in agriculture. McHale's program for small farmers inclu'ded: Ridgeview Grange No. 1948 will hold its annual Grange picnic for members and their families at the Grange Hall at Bethelboro, Monday, 'Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. Each one attending is to bring a covered dish and table service.
