Institute sponsors string chamber event From Special Reports The University of Southern Mississippi English Language Institute (ELI) will sponsor a string chamber music concert at 3 p.m.

Tuesday in the courtyard near the ELI building. Two string quartets will present works by Mozart, Ravel and Shostakovich. The quartets are coached by Rebekah Stark, assistant professor of Student musicians who will perform are violinists Maria Caserta, Fidencio Solis, Rene Torres and Isabel Arriaga; violists Jami Caldwell and Jorge Guttierez; and cellists Ingrid Tithcheva and Jose Sunderland. In case of rain, the concert will be rescheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday in the same location.
