The Enterprise notes that in addition to the candidacy of Mr. Burt, whose selection would give representation to the Northern Tier, Williamsport has put forward two candidates for national delegate which doesn't look quite fair to the remaining counties of the district.

The rule that those who have giv-n most valuable service to their party in its past, should be first privileged as future counsellors, loses no weight in its application to Mr. Burt, whose democracy is of the militant type. No other person in the Democrat party in Potter county has given more of his time and money. In the service of his party, in recent years, than has Monta C. Burt.
