FIRST THE MORNING CALL, TUESDAY, JUNE 15, 1999 B7 Margaret Ceykovsky, ex-Danielsviile hotelier Leon 'Ike' Eisenhard, ex-Allentown policeman, Lehigh commissioner Lillian Bowdern, 100 Lillian Bowdern, 100, of Ore-field, formerly of 700 Union Allentown, died Sunday, June 13, in Sacred Heart Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis R. Bowdern. She was a secretary for Gruman Aircraft and Curtis Aviation during World War n. Born in Freeport, Long Island, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Daniel Benjamin and Mary Ella Combs.

She attended Cornerstone Church, Orefield. Survivors: Daughter, Patricia Jenkins of Orefield; sons, George of Viera, and Gary of Sebastian, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. There will be no services. Arrangements, Sell-Herron Funeral -Home, Allentown. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the European Theater and the Battle of the Bulge.

He received five Battle Stars. He also was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the 813th Heavy Tank Battalion, attaining the rank of sergeant. He served two years in the Pennsylvania National Guard. Active in employee credit unions, he was co-founder, past president, board member, treasurer and committee secretary for 12 years of the Allentown Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union and a board member and membership officer of the Lehigh County Employees Federal Credit Union. Eisenhard was past president and treasurer of Queen City Lodge 10, Fraternal Order of Police; a representative on the Allentown Police pension board for 12 years and a charter member of the Police Athletic League.

He was a merit badge counselor for the Minsi Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America, and a co-founder and member of Trexlertown-Pa-mona-State and National Grange. A past president of the Lehigh Valley Beekeepers Association, he won many awards for his apiary exhibits. He was a member of the Lehigh Shrine Club; Rajah Temple; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest 41; Post Travelers Protective Association; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Allentown; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Allentown Aerie, and the Fearless and Fogelsville fire companies. Survivor: Sister, Alma J. of Allentown.

John W. Oberholtzer John W. Oberholtzer, 57, of 88 Sawmill Road, Boyertown, died Sunday, June 13, at home. He was the husband of Vernita (Turner) Oberholtzer for 23 years. For the past two years he was an agent for Nationwide Insurance Co.

and an employee of Sheetz Auto Sales, both in Earl Township, Berks County. Previously he was an agent for American General Life and Accident Insurance, Wyomis-sing, Berks County, for 20 years before retiring in 1996. Born in Bechtelsville, he was a son of the late Clifford and Florence (Wolf) Oberholtzer. He was a Lutheran. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 471, Boyertown.

Nancy M. Kohl Nancy M. Kohl, 68, of Whitehall Township, formerly of Catasauqua, died Monday, June 14, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Lloyd W. Kohl.

They were married for 48 years in February. Born in Hamburg, she was a daughter of Ethel E. (Lash) Evangelist of Whitehall and the late Joseph Evangelist. Survivors: Husband and mother; sons, Michael H. of Egypt and Bruce A.

Thursday, John H. Brubaker Funeral Home, 234 Walnut Catasauqua. Marie A. Handschin Marie A. Handschin, 84, of Haycock Township, formerly of Hill-town Township, died Sunday, June 13, in the home of her son, John, with whom she resided.

She was the wife of Samuel Handschin, who died in January. She assisted her husband on the family farm. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Archer) Connelly. She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hilltown, where she had a life commitment in assisting the parish nuns. (Gilluly) Stewart. He was a chemical analyst senior for Metropolitan Edison, Portland, N.J., before retiring in 1983 after 28 years' service. Previously, he worked for Dupont, North Arlington, N.J., and J.T. Baker Chemical, Phillipsburg. Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late George W.

and Florence (Burdge) Stewart. He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. A Navy veteran of World War II he was a gunner on the USS Princeton.

He was a member of Bernadine-May American Legion Post, Phillipsburg. A life member of Alert Hook and Ladder Company No. 1, Phillipsburg, he was a New Jersey exempt fireman. She was the wife of Ralph W. Hess, who died in 1995. She was employed by Maria Rose Fashions, Bangor, for the past 10 years and previously by Scotty's Fashions, Pen Argyl, for several years. Born in Forks Township, she was a daughter of the late William and Helen (Brotzman) Heitzman. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Martins Creek.

Minarovic William T. Minarovic, 81, of Allentown died Monday, June 14, in Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Althea (Breidinger) Minarovic. They were married for 58 years on the day of his death. He was a checker for the former Lehigh Structural Steel Allen-town, for 39 years until retiring in 1981.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Ludwig and Anna (Bara-nek) Minarovic. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, Allentown. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife; son, William J.

of Bath; daughter, Elaine, wife of Thomas Sedor of Northampton; brothers, Frank, Alfred and John, all of Allentown, and Ludwig Jr. of Bethlehem; sister, Margaret, wife of Otto Weber of Allentown, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Deily Herbert E. Deily, 69, of Dumfries, formerly of Bethlehem, died June 7 in Dumfries. He was the husband of Jeanne P. (Sheerer) Deily, who died in 1994. He was a warehouse supervisor for the former Durkee's Famous Foods, Bethlehem, before retiring after working 35 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George W. and Hen-. rietta Deily. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Bethlehem. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Margaret C. Ceykovsky, 81, of ManorCare Health Services II, formerly of Dan-ielsville, died Monday, June 14, in Manor-Care. She was the wife of the late John A. Ceykovsky. She was the of the for mer Danielsville Hotel for 17 years until retiring in 1972.

Previously, she and her husband were caretakers of the former Coopersburg Orphanage. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late David and Jo-hannah (Schweitzer) Fisher. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport. She was a former member of the Danielsville Democratic Club.

Hoffert Fountain Hill, who died Sunday, was a daughter of the late John and Caroline Kubica. Her parents' surname was incorrect in Monday's obituarv. Leon W. "Ike" of Allentown, a former Allentown police officer and Lehigh County commissioner, died Sunday, June 13, in the hospice unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. A member of the police department for 32 years, he was a sergeant in the fingerprinting and records section for 19 years before retiring.

He was Lehigh County commissioner of District 3, 1978-90, and chairman of the panel on authorities, boards and commissions committee. Eisenhard represented the board of the Lehigh and Northampton Counties Joint Planning Commission and served on the executive and comprehensive planning committee for years. He was vice chairman of the legislative and appointment committee and a member of the administrative com-; mittee. i He helped with the development of Little Lehigh Parkway and Cedar Beach Park, and in 1980, he was elected to the Allentown Charter Study Commission. He attended Pennsylvania State University, Muhlenberg College and the University of Wisconsin.

Born in Salisbury Township, he was a son of the late Franklin T. and Estella A. (Reinheimer) Eisenhard. He was a member and deacon of St. John's United Church of Christ, Allentown, and a member of its ushering committee.

Ida H. Lieb Ida H. Lieb, 85, formerly of Lieb Road, Forks Township, died Monday, June 14, in PersonaCare at Eastwood, Wilson. She was the wife of the late Frederick L. Lieb Sr.

She worked for Koh-I-Noor, Bloomsbury, N.J., for 16 years until retiring in 1984. Years ago, she and her husband operated a truck farm in Forks Township. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Lina (Sabo) Ferency. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Forks Township. Survivors: Son, Frederick L.

Born in Hellertown, she was a daughter of the late Howard J. and Sallie (Gutekunst) Laubach. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, Hellertown. She was a ceramic instructor in her home in Williams Township until retiring. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late August and Carrie (Williams) Richebacher.
