Mr. and Mrs. John R. Fraas of BVille Man In Command Of Squadron U.S. Air Force Maj.

Robert E. Russin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Russin of Brownsville, has assumed command of Detachment 1, 3414th Instructor Squadron at Lowry AFB, Colo.

Maj. Russin serves with the Air Training Command of the Air Force which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. Prior to his assignment at Lowry, he served in Woomera, South Australia. The major is a veteran of the Korean War and was commissioned in 1961 upon completion of Officer Candidate School. He has completed a year of duty in Vietnam.

A 1952 graduate of Brownsville Senior High School, Maj. Russin attended the University of Southern Missouri. His wife, Marina, is the daughter of Mrs. Nicolash Magallon of 10861 Rosalie Drive, Northglenn, Colo. Births Uniontown Hospital Mr.
