More Sarah C. Moseley BILOXI Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at St. Peter's By the Sea Episcopal Church in Gulfport for Sarah Craven Moseley, 89, of Biloxi, who died Nov. 4, 1992, in Biloxi.

Mrs. Moseley attended Hattiesburg High School and Mississippi State College for Women. She had resided on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 43 years. She was a member of St. Peter's By the Sea Episcopal Church in Gulfport.

Mrs. Moseley was preeded in death by her husband, Pratt Moseley; one son, 1st Lt. Nard L. Moseley; and her parents, Charles E. and Anna R.

Thomas Craven. Survivors include one son, Clarkson P. Moseley Sr. of Dallas; one daughter, Charlotte Rhett of Biloxi; and three grandsons. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to favorite charity.

Mrs. Ward, a native of Marion County, had lived in Lamar County for the past 10 years. She was a homemaker and a retired salesperson for the W.T.

Grant Co. in Metairie, La. She was a member of 38th Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Charlette Newton of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Vera Lomas of Orlando, and Ruby Bostwick of Columbia; three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 p.m.

Mrs. Shows was preceded in death by her husband, B.L. "Buck" Shows; one son, Thomas L. Shows; her father, Henry Creel; and one sister, Lola Creel. Survivors include two sons, Ray Shows and Glenn Shows, both of Beaumont; two daughters, Mary Carolyn Mills of Jackson and Debbie Shows of Montgomery, her mother, Hattie C.

(AP) Lonnie Carney, a boy whose bout with a rare genetic disease prompted a promise to win a football game from the Washington Redskins' quarterback and coach, died Oct. 31, 1992, at age 13. Mr. Carney, who was a devoted Redskins' fan, suffered from progeria, a disorder that caused him to age 10 times faster than normal. James J.

Beltritti JERUSALEM (AP) James Joseph Beltritti, the former Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, died Nov. 1, 1992. He was 82. From 1970 to 1987 he served as head of the Roman Catholic Church in Israel, the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, Jordan and Cyprus. John C.

Kingery MORGANTOWN, Ky. (AP) John C. Kingery, an Alzheimer's patient who was abandoned at an Idaho racetrack in March, died Nov. 2, 1992. He was 82.

A daughter, Sue Gifford, was charged with his kidnapping. Mr. Kingery was taken from an Oregon nursing home and found with the labels cut from his clothing. A note taped to his wheelchair gave his name incorrectly. CRIME Hattiesburg Boat motor stolen, found Grady Ford's boat motor was stolen from his Geneva Street home, said Hattiesburg police Lt.

Richard Cox. Police recovered the item and arrested two men in connection with the theft, Cox said. Patrolman Mike Humphrey, after receiving a description of the suspects from a neighbor of Ford's, arrested two suspects who allegedly had the boat motor in their car. Items reported stolen A $385 microwave was reported stolen from Bay Street Presbyterian Church Wednesday, Cox said. Deatra Bishop reported the theft of her purse from her vehicle, which was parked in the 3200 block of Arlington Loop.

Ford also faces charges of two other counts of grand larceny and one of burglary for other alleged crimes. Deutsch CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) Karl W. Deutsch, a professor of government and former director of the International Institute for Comparative Social Research of the Science Center in Berlin, died Nov. 1, 1992, of cancer. He was 80.

Mr. Deutsch, who taught at Harvard University, was considered an innovator in applying quantitative methods to socialscience research and in assembling data on population movements, languages and international trade. He wrote the books "Arms Control and the Atlantic Alliance," "Nationalism and Its Alternatives" and "Politics and Government: How People Decide Their Fate." The Prague-born scholar also taught at Yale and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
