The Carmichaols Lions Ciub will hold a father and son banquet on June 19. The club met last Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. President Rayfield Honsaker was in charge. Bible school is now in session at the First Presbyterian Church of Carmichaels.

It will continue through June 14. Mr. and Mrs. John Morris gave a party at their home Friday evening in honor of their son Johnny, who was celebrating his 14th birthday. Games and conversation furnished the evening's entertainment.

Anna, died in 1956. He had a sister, Mary Caruso, and a brother, John, in Detroit. His brother lived for a long lime in Nemacolin. Several local residents are in the hospital. They are Winifred Wilson, Austin Fnmd.
