THE MORNING CALL, SATURDAY, MARCH, 1, 1997 Dorothy R.E. Miller, 90, former sales associate Dorothy Rebecca Ellen Miller, 90, of Bethlehem, formerly of 1434 Linden Allentown, died Thursday, Feb. 27 in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Gerald W. Miller.

They were married 63 years last April. She was a sales associate at the former Florence Yiengst Dress Shop, Allentown, for many years before retiring in 1969. Before that she worked for the tipstaff at Lehigh County Court House and was a bridal consultant and sales associate at the former Hess's Department Store, Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Oliver J. and Mame (Savitz) Sell.

She was a member of St. James United Church of Christ, Allentown, where she was active with its Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Youth Fellowship and Sunday school. She was past president of the Matron's Club, Allentown. Survivors: Husband; sons, Gerald L. of Houston, Texas, and David B.

of Bethlehem; sister, Ruth Guth of Allentown; brother, Kenneth Heil of Dana Point, five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Call 9-10 a.m.

Tuesday. Contributions: To the church. Marie Martha 'Pat' MacDougall Marie Martha "Pat" MacDougall, 83, formerly of Easton and Washington Street, Nazareth, died Thursday, Feb. 27, in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township. She was the wife of Bruce MacDougall, who died in 1994.

She was a bus driver for Intermediate Unit 20 for seven years until retiring. Prior to that she and her husband were custodians for the Towne House, Nazareth. During the 1950s, she operated a pie shop from her home, supplying area restaurants. Born in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Freida (Hoffmann) Sticht. Survivors: Sons, C.

Paules Lewis L. Paules, 98, of 255 Fireline Road, Bowmanstown, died Friday, Feb. 28, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Verna V. (Long) Paules.

He was a quarryman for several local slate quarries for 25 years until retiring in 1961. Born in Slatedale, he was a son of the late Amandus and Ellen (Walters) Paules. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Ann Delong and Ellen, both of Bowmanstown; sons, Lewis R. of Ashfield, Dale D. of Bath, and Roger D.

Tresize Sr. They were married 56 years last June. She was employed in the research and development department of the former Dixie Cup, Wilson, for 26 years, retiring in 1983. She received a bachelor's in business administration from Rider Business College, Trenton, N.J., and attended Churchman's Business College, Easton, and Northampton Community College. Born in Berwick, Columbia County, she was a daughter of the late Muard M.

Sr. and Oleta (Bardo) Naugle. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Easton, and its Co-Ed Sunday school class, and was the primary class Sunday school teacher for 10 years. She was a den mother for Den 2 of Cub Scout Pack 4, Wilson, and received the Training Recognition Plan Award from the Boy Scouts of America. She was also past president of the former Liberty Elementary School PTA, Wilson.

Survivors: Husband; daughter, Elsie E. Mutschler of Boyertown; sons, Robert M. of Bethlehem, and William H. Jr. of Wilson; brother, Muard M.

Jr. of Strausstown, Lancaster County; sisters, Katherine E. Painter and Barbara A. Forrer, both of Reading, and two grandsons. She was predeceased by a son, Richard.

Russell V. Rotenberger Russell V. Rotenberger, 88, of Quakertown died Thursday, Feb. 27, in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital.

He was the husband of the late Ethel A. (Thomas) Rotenberger. He was a salesman at the former Triangle Lumber Company, Quakertown, until retiring in 1974. Born in Trumbauersville, he was a son of the late W. Alvin and Laura (Bossert) Rotenberger.

He was a member of First Church of the Brethren, Quakertown. Survivors: Daughter, Linda, wife of Alfred Fedorcwicz of Quakertown; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Janet Harry. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, C.R.

Paul J. Roth Paul J. Roth, 70, of Allentown died Friday, Feb. 28, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Dorothy J.

(Lyons) Roth. He was a maintenance mechanic for the Allentown Housing Authority for 40 years, retiring in 1991. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Stephen and Catherine (Schwab) Roth. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Allentown. He was a Navy veteran of World War IL.

Rabenold Esther F. Rabenold, 90, formerly of Main Street, Macungie, died Thursday, Feb. 27, in Lehigh Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lower Macungie Township. She was the wife of the late Benjamin L. Rabenold.

Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Annie (Giering) Stahle. She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church. Survivors: Son, William S. of Coopersburg; two grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Services: 11 a.m.

He was the husband of Rosemary (Schnezler) Rider for 34 years. He was a platoon chief for the Jersey City (N.J.) Fire Dept. for 27 years before retiring in 1994. Born in Jersey City, he was a son of the late William P. and Marian (Johnson) Rider.

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Bushkill. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Rider was a director of the Winona Lake Property Association. Survivors: Wife; brothers, William P.

William R. Heller William R. Heller, 50, of 1776 Mountain Road, Saylorsburg, died Thursday, Feb. 27, in St. Luke's Hospital.

He was the husband of Valerie Jo (Pustai) Stumer Heller. A graduate of Lafayette College, he was a senior engineer at Lucent Technologies, Allentown, for the past 28 years. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of Angela (Hofstetter) Heller of Coopersburg and the late William E. Heller. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

She was a production worker at Magnetic Windings, Easton, until retiring. Born in Eglsee, Germany, she was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Wilson. Survivors: Son, Erwin of Bethlehem and a sister in Germany. Mass: 10 a.m.

He was the husband of Stephanie M. (Wockrin) Stepansky, who died in 1991. He was a foreman at the former Schneider Manufacturing Allentown, for 19 years before retiring. Born in the Ukraine, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Farynak) Stepansky. Survivors: Sons, John and Joseph, both of Harrisburg, Andrew of Allentown and Steven of Reston, daughter, Anne Marie of Center Valley; brothers, Michael and Charles, both in the Ukraine, and six grandchildren.

for 47 years. A 1948 graduate of Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse until retiring. Born in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Campbell) Bechtol. She was a member of the Upper Perkiomen Aquacise group and the Handcraft Club.
