Miss Sherra L. Smith weds Paul M. Hillman Miss Sherra L. Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Luther L. Smith, Rt 1, Richton, became the bride of Paul M. Hillman, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.

H. Hillman, Rt 1, Leakesville, a at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at Sand Hill Baptist Church. Officiating at the double ring ceremony was Rev.

J. D. Dickerson, pastor of the church and a friend of the bride and bridegroom. Tall baskets of white gladioli, palms and candelabra with burning tapers formed the background for the bridal party. Nuptial music Nuptial music was furnished by Miss Mary Mack, pianist, and and Woodrow Nail Jr, students at William Carey College.

Mr. Nail sang The Wedding Prayer (Fern Glasgow Dunlap) and 0 Perfect Love (Oscar J. Fox). The traditional wedding marches, The Bridal Chorus from Wagner's Lohengrin and The Wedding March (Mendelssohn) were played by Miss Mack, The benediction, The Lord's Prayer, (Albert Malotte) was sung by Mr. Nail.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white satin, styled with a fitted bodice which featured a portrait neckline of Chantilly lace appliqued with seed pearls. Her extremely full skirt was designed with a double back panel which was topped by a large white satin bow, over which was Chantilly lace, embroidered in seed pearls, The skirt ended in a chapel train. Her diadem, finished with seed pearls, held her elbow-length tulle veil. A single strand of pearls was worn with the model. Bride's flowers The bride carried a bouquet of two white ve -throated orchids, surrounded 1 by white pompons and showered with white ribbon streamers.

Mrs. Ronnie Mitchell, sister of the bride, was her matron of hon- or. Bridesmaids were Misses Sandra Gale Roberts and Nelda Freeman of Avera. Their gowns, identical in color and style, were of emerald green, patterned on princess lines with fitted bodices and flared skirts. Their veils were of the same shade of green tulle.

Green peau de soi slippers and large white chrysanthemum bouquest completed their ensembles. Van Alton Ramsey of Pascagoula was best man. Groomsmen were Guy Hillman of Leakesville, a cousin of the bridegroom, and Ronnie Mitchell of Picayune, brother-in-law of the bride. The bridegroom and his attendants wore black suits with white carnation boutonnieres, Mothers' models Mrs. Smith, the bride's mother, wore shades of blue jersey with a satin-trimmed blue felt hat, blue gloves and her shoes and bag were of black suede.

Mrs. Hillman, mother of the bridegroom, chose a black two piece dress with floral bodice. Her accessories included a white feather hat and white gloves. White carnation corsages were worn by both mothers, The reception followed at the church. The bride's table, spread with an off-white cloth, held a flower arrangement of white gladioli and yellow pompons, intermingled with wedding bells, and the threetiered cake.

Topping the cake was a tiny bridal couple under an arch of pink flowers. Mrs. Louis Kitrell served the cake; Mrs. Grady Wally poured punch and Mrs. Carl Harris presided at the register.

J. M. Cravey, Ellisville High School, were presented in a style show at chapel Monday morning. About 75 girls took, part, modeling clothes they had selected and made, The program opened with prayer by the principal, Tom Coward. He introduced Mrs.

Cravey, who in turn presented Kaye Freeman, narrator. The girls were presented in groups: school clothes; casual and partially lined garments; and dress up clothes, fully lined, with harmonizing accessories. The narrator described each costume, pointing out outstanding features. In addition to the student audience, a large number of mothers and college home economics teachers witnessed the style show. DAVIS-BRELAND DAVIS-BRELAND PERKINSTON Mr. and Mrs. Oyt Davis of Perkinston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Miss Brenda Mae Davis, to Jesse Willis Breland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ermon C.

Breland of Wiggins, Miss Davis is a 1961 graduate of Perkinston High School and is employed at the Bank of Wiggins.
