Lyons PERU, Ind. William Franklin "Frank" Lyons, 62, Peru R.R. 4, died at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1995, at Dukes Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 24, son of William Evert and Martha (Stevens) Lyons. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he retired Jan. 31 from Chrysler transmission plant in Kokomo after 27 years' service as a pipefitter. He was a 35- year member of the Wabash Hanna Masonic Lodge No.

61 and the Roann American Legion. He was also a member of United Auto Workers Local 685 in Kokomo and the American Association of Retired Persons. He had lived in Peru since moving from Greentown in 1981. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark K. and Jen- A.

Lyons and Matthew K. and A. Lyons, all of Kokomo; three grandsons; a brother, Denver Ray Lyons of Roann; and two sisters, Evelyn Conn of Morehead and Rena Sue Holley of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m.

Saturday in Roann Chapel Grandstaff- Hentgen Funeral Home. The Rev Kurt Snyder will officiate. Burial will follow in Roann Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice. Bruce Johnson WINDFALL, Ind. Bruce Johnson, 67, 3335 N. 400 East, died at 9:01 a.m. Wednesday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Born June 3, 1928, in Perkinsville, he was the son of Harold and Marjorie (Caylor) Johnson.

On Aug. 26,1946, he married Patty (Blessing) Johnson. She survives. He was a fanner and a member of the Tipton County Uvestock Breeders Hall of Fame. He also was a member of Windfall Christian Church, the Windfall Masonic Ixnige and Scottish Rite of Indianapolis.

Other survivors are two daughters and two sons, Cathy Castor, Susie McC'orkle, Rodney Johnson and Tim Johnson, all of Windfall; a sister, Nelda Heath of Dayton, Ohio, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Windfall Christian Church with the Rev. Carl Roudebush officiating.

Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Windfall. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, Tipton, and one hour before services at the church Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Howard Shook GALVESTON, Ind.

Howard E. Shook, 60, 301 Raleigh Road, died at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug.22,1995, at Howard Community Hospital. Born Sept. 28, 1934, in Kokomo, he was a son of Dewey and Esther (Dunn) Shook. Aug.

23, 1975, he married Velda (Nearon) Shook, who survives. He worked for Crescent Dairy and the Cone Palace, in Kokomo, and was retired from both. He attended the Galveston United Methodist Church and served in the Army in the Korean War. He lived in Howard and Cass counties most of his life. Surviving are one step daughter, Deborah Crockett, Burlington; five brothers and their wives, George and Nancy Shook, Kokomo, Everett and Helen Shook, Kokomo, Donald and Nancy Shook, Kokomo, Edward (Bill) and Betty Shook, Louisville, and Richard and Mary Shook, Phoenix, and two step grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were two sisters and his parents. Services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Murray Funeral Home, Galveston chapel. The Rev. Jonathan Gosser will officiate. Burial will be at Galveston Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. James Bousum James Dale Bousum, 34,1800 W. Markland died at 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, Aug.

22, 1995, at 1800 W. Markland Ave. Born March 25, 1961, in Logansport, he was a son of Robert E. and I-ela Jenette (Hundley) Bousum. He was a former employee of Monon Trailers, in Monon.

He was a 1979 graduate of Carroll High School. He had been a resident of the Burlington community for 32 years. Surviving are three daughters, Bobbi, Autumn and Christy Bousum, all of Kokomo; one son, Jeremiah James Bousum, Koko- mo; three brothers, Jerry Bousum, Burlington, Bobby Bousum, Burlington, and David Bousum, Greencastle. Preceding him in death were his parents. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, at Neptune Funeral Home, in Burlington.

The Rev. Carl Arthur will officiate. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery. Friends may call at 9 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.

Rachel Moss Rachel Moss, 89, Covington Manor, Fort Wayne, a resident of Kokomo until 1990, died at 2:25 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22,1995, at the facility. Born May 31, 1906 in Alto, she was a daughter of Denton and Mary (Hughes) Stratford. On Dec. 10,1939, she married Wm.

Gordon Moss, who died Sept. 29,1974. She was a 50-year member of Grace United Methodist Church and also belonged to The Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed at the Golden Rule Department Store in Logansport. Surviving is one sister, Mildred Bischoff of Fort Wayne.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Fenn Shirley Mortuary, Colonial Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with the Rev. James Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Friends may call Saturday, at the mortuary, from noon until time of the service.

Carlee Leckron CONVERSE, Ind. Carlee Ann Leckron, 21 hours, 212 E. Wabash Street, died Tuesday, Aug. 22,1995 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She was the daughter of Philip and Beth (Shockey) Leckron of Converse, who survive.

Also surviving are a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Cupp of Galveston; a maternal grandfather, Terry Lee Shockey of Marion; a paternal grandmother, Mrs. James (Phyllis) Summers of Fairmount; a maternal great- grandfather, William Messersmith of Marion; paternal great-grandparents, Burl Esther Mills of Richmond; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.

Friday at Park Cemetery in Fairmount with the Rev. Robert L. Miller officiating. No visitation is planned. Larrison- Martin-Duncan Funeral Home in Converse is handling arrangements.

Minnie Meiring Minnie Meiring, 91, a resident of Chase Center in Logansport, died at 4:35 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1995, at the center. She was born Feb. 8,1904, in Tipton County, the daughter of Jack and Nancy (Thompson) Warden.

She was married to Albert Meiring, who died in 1980. She had worked for Cuneo Press. Surviving are a son, Richard Meiring of Logansport; two sisters, Isabelle Hayes of Kokomo and Mary Bailey of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a daughter, five sisters and one brother. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.

Saturday at Hoffman- Murray Funeral Home, 414 W. Jefferson Kokomo. The Rev. Harold Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Lucretia McCann Lucretia "Corky" McCann, 59, 3569 N. Road 00 East-West, Lot 5, died at 2:27 p.m.

She was a 1955 graduate of Kokomo High School and attended Christian College. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Paul L. "Pete" and Jackie McCann, Norfolk, a daughter and son-in-law, Alicia "Missy" and David Roach, Kokomo; a half sister, Wanda Burns; three grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, and several stepbrothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main with the Revs. Gary Richmond and Nettie Evans officiating. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery.
