Fidler. 86, 127 West Main street, Peru's oldesti past master, is dead at his home here after a week's illness. Funeral services will be conductIn the Elkenberry funeral home 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Paul E.

Chalfant, of South Bend, former pastor of the First Presbyterian church here, will officiate and interment will be in Eel River cemetery, north of Peru. Mr. Fidler served as Master of Peru-Miami Lodge No. 67, F. during the year 1910.

As the oldest living past master, he was guest of honor at the tennia! celebration of the local lodge held on June 10 and 11. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert McElheny and Mrs. Katherine Andrews, both of Peru; one grandson, and sister, Mrs. Mary Boyer, of Logansport.

Two sons and one daughter are deceas c'. Born in Cass county on October 19, 1861, the deceased was a son of and Malinda Jane (Helvie) Fidler. He lived most of his life in Peru. In 1881 he graduated from Valparaiso university, and in 1888 he was married to Olive Newman, who preceded him death.1 He was a member of Pipe Church of the Brethren. In addition! to his membership in the "Blue he also was a member of Peru Chapter No.

President Cecil Byrne of Theatri-! cal Productions, announced' last night the Murat had taken over the United Booking 'Office franchise which the English had held for many years. The English hotel, which houses! the theater, is being sold to make way for a new.J. C. Penney store. The theater opened in 1880.

The Murat is a 2,000 seat house at the corner of Massachusetts avenue and New Jersey street, built by the Murat Shrine In 1907 primarily for its own use.
