Ml I FOOD LANE SUPERMARKETS William J. Dilcherd William J. Dilcherd, 92, of 1460 Church Road, Wind Gap, died Tuesday in his home. He was the husband of the late Viola (Werner) Dilcherd. He owned and operated Dilcherd Cider Press, Bushkill Township, for past 60 years.

He was also a train order operator for the former Lehigh and New England Railroad, Pen ArgyL for 36 years before retiring in 1960. Born in Bushkill Township, he was a son of the late Ervin and Cora (Schutt) Dilcherd. He was a member and former trustee and administrative board member of Bushkill United Methodist Church. Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Madeline Dilcherd, with whom he resided; five grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren, three great-greatgrandchildren, two step-greatgrandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, William E.

Ernest A. George Ernest A. George, 76, formerly of 109 S. laurel Kutztown, died Monday in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Ro-gene A.

(Stevelton) George. He was superintendent of the former Kutztown Foundry before retiring in 1978 after 35 years' service. Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late Amos C. and Bertha R. (Adam) George.
