Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998 in Kokomo. Horn Jan. 19. 1952 in Logansport.

she was the daughter of Fred and I ucy Jcancllc Sink. She was employed with Wal-Mart as a cashier. She was a 1970 graduate of Northwestern High School. She attended Indiana University Kokomo and Ivy Tech State University. Surviving are a daughter.

Stephanie Sink. Kokomo; a son, Scott Sink. Kokomo; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Alden and Margo Sink, Freddie Sink and David and Loretta Sink, all of Kokomo; two sisters and a brother-in-law. Janet Davenport. Kokomo, and Joyce and Ivan Bragg.

Greentown. Services will he 1 p.m. Saturday at Tillers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel. 3400 S. Webster St.

Meta Decker Meta C. Decker, 93, Northwoods 'Commons, 2501 Friendship died at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21,1998. in Saint Joseph Hospital Health Center.

Born Aug. 9, 1905, in New Knoxville. Ohio, she was the daughter of August T. and Maryann C. (Katterheinrich) Schultz.

She was the widow of Lawrence W. Decker, who preceded her in death Sept. 15, 1986. They were married Dec. 21, 1935.

She received her teacher's certificate from Bowling Green State University, and later graduated from Fort Wayne Business She had taught school in a one-room schoolhouse and worked for several businesses. She retired from the drapery department of JC Penney in 1970, after 15 years of service. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Mary Circle of the Church. Surviving are a son and a daughter- in-law. William E.

Sterling M. Davis 77, 698 Bradford Drive, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Oct. 20, 1998, in his home.

Born June 22, 1.921. in he was the son of Sterling M. and limma Mary Davis. He married Frances Mild Davis. who preceded him Davis Jr in death May 15.

1980; then he married Delores ((irilTim Davis, who died Dec. 8, and then he married Juanita V. Martin-Davis Oct. 26, 1997, in the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer; she survives. Me graduated from high school in from Mich.

He attended the Sherwood School of Music in Chicago, III. Me had been employed with Mason I Did and retired from Haynes International in 1986, after 30 years of service. He was a member of Lutheran (. lunch of Our Redeemer; and a former member of the Historic Wayman Impel AMI: Church of Kokomo, where he served as treasurer, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and the Indianapolis Opera Co. He had served on the Kokomo Center School Board for 15 years and the Center Township Welfare board for six years, as well as the Sagamore Council Boy Scouts of America board of directors, and was a precinct committeeman.

He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army European Theater, during World War II. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter and a son-in-law, Marchann M. and Michael Simon, Rochester Hills, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lavell C. and Tracy Brown and Sterling M.

Davis III, all of Kokomo; a daughter-in-law, Bertha Davis, Gary; a stepson, Graham E. Martin, Kokomo; four grandchildren, Craten Brown and Akasha Diona R. and Gerald L. Davis Jr. Preceding him in death were two wives; a son, Gerald Lynn Davis; and' a sister.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 705 Southway Blvd. East. The Rev. William Allison will officiate.

Burial will be in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery, 1300 E. North with military honors being performed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1152. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Fenn Shirley Mortuary, Colonial Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, and from 10 a.m.

Bertha Hollingsworth- Crensnaw Bertha "Jean" Hollingsworth- Crenshaw, 77, St. Regis, formerly of Kokomo, died Monday, Oct. 12, 1998, in Life Care Center, Coeur d'Alene. Born Nov. 19, 1920 in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Nelson and Cecil Peart She was "Teenie" Lawton Crenshaw Sr.

They were married July 18, 1944. She received her education in Russiaville and earned a two-year degree from Blackburn College, 111. After college, she worked as a chemist during World War II. After her husband's discharge, they left for Alaska. Running short on funds, they settled in Regis, Mont.

After spending a few summers manning the Keystone Lookout, west of Superior, they purchased their home. Due to her father- in-law's illness, they returned to Russiaville to run Hollingsworth Sawmill until 1963, when they returned home to St. Regis. She worked as a librarian for St. Regis Branch of Mineral County Library and the St.

Regis School. She also waitressed at St. Regis Diner before purchasing the Crenshaw Grocery and State Liquor Store in 1965. When she retired, she had time to become more involved in the community. She was an active member of St.

Regis Senior Center, HUD Improvement Program, Mineral County Library Board and was very proud of the St. Regis Sewer project. These causes became important and fulfilling for her. She enjoyed sewing, reading, mushroom hunting, crafts, travel and especially boating and fishing. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Shirley Crenshaw, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and J.L.

and Judy Crenshaw, St. Regis, two daughters and two sons-in-law, Becky and Rick Lyden, Bozeman, and Christine and Perry Jasper, Victor, a brother and a sister-in-law, and Sue Hollingsworth, Russiaville; a sister, Annabelle Hollingsworth, Oakland, eight grandchildren, David, Jonathan and Michael Crenshaw, Kelly, Seth, and Jeff Lyden, and Tiffany and Nikki Jasper, Victor, Mont. Memorial services were 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Superior, with the Rev. Myron Wacker officiating.

22, 1998, in Saint Joseph Hospital Health Center. Born Nov. 6, 1963, in Howard County, she was the daughter of the late Carol (Harl) and Bob Hicks, Kokomo. She was the wife of Kent A. Wilson, who survives.

They were married in Kokomo on Dec. 17,1983. She was a 1982 graduate of Eastern High School. She was attending Purdue University. She was a member of Upper Deer Creek United Church of Christ.

She attended Family Worship Center and was involved in Children Ministries with both churches. Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, are two sons, Tyler L. and Travis L. Wilson; a daughter, Kylee A. Wilson, all at home; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Patrick and Kay Hicks and Michael and Carol Hicks, all of Greentown; and a sister, Cathy Powell, Virginia.

Preceding her in death was her mother. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Upper Deer Creek United Church of Christ, 5019 E. Road 1400 South, Galveston. The Revs.

John Rhodes, Patrick Bousom and Jim Brady will officiate. Burial will be in North Union Cemetery, Western Howard County. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Stout Son Funeral Home, Russiaville, and one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in celebration of her life in memory of Cindy Wilson.

30, 1997. He was a truck driver with Hiway Dispatch before retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Amvets, Teamsters Local 135 and a past member of Round Robin's CB Club in Fairmount. His handle was "Ready Freddy." He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II and the Korean War.

Surviving are a son and a daughter- in-law, Keith and Gayle Hickman, Marion; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Penney and Billy Huddleston, Rochester, Lisa and Bruce Holloway, Summittville, and Bronda Auspitz, Lafayette, two sisters and two brothers-in- law, Winnie and Bob Miller, Kokomo, and Jenny and Jim Downing, Bryant, 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death, in addition to his wife, was a sister, Margaret Waisner. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Needham-Storey Funeral Service, 400 E. Main Gas City.

Daniels, 62, 762 S. Road 300 West, died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Born Feb.

19, 1936 in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Herbert and Louise (McKinney) Simpson. She was the wife of Charles F. Daniels, who survives. They were married June 28, 1980, in Merriville. She worked for 41 years for Indiana Bell as a service representative and then branch manager until retiring in 1989.

She was a 1953 graduate- -of Lou Wallace. High School and attended Indiana University. She was a member of Highland Park Church; Clay 49ers Club, Telephone Pioneers and BeFriend Group, Kokomo. Surviving are three brothers and three sisters-in-law, John and Linda Simpson, Lake Station, George and Dora Simpson, Hebron, and Aaron and Sherry Simpson, Valparaiso; and a sister and a brother-in-law, Janrose and Terry Zostze, Lake Station. Preceding her in death were a brother and two sisters.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road. The Rev. Edward J.

Vasicek will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.
