DEATHS Roy R. Schaller, 84; was active World War I veteran Roy R. "Jack" Schaller, 84, of 2111 Huntington Bethlehem, a past commander of Bethlehem Barracks 989, Veterans of World War I of the USA, died Friday in St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Grace E.

(Fenstermacher) Schaller. He was a self-employed painter and interior decorator for more than 50 years until retiring in 1980. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Samuel and Katie (Roth) Schaller. He was a sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War I. Schaller was a past commander and charter member of American Legion 406, Fountain Hill; a past chef de gare of Voiture 920 of the 40 et and a past grand tall cedar of Forest 61, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Bethlehem.

Surviving with his widow are a son, LeRoy D. of Bolivar, Westmoreland County; a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Englander of New Cumberland, Cumberland County; a sister, Catherine Koch of Fountain Hill; two brothers, Edward C. of Fountain Hill and Wilbur L. of Quakertown; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Lester S. Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Bethlehem. Calling hours will be p.m. Sunday.

Fritts survivor Among the survivors of Mrs. Catherine I. Fritts, 69, of 2040 Lehigh Whitehall Township, who died Thursday in Sacred. Heart Hospital, is a daughter, Catherine wife of Ronald Heffner of Catasauqua. She was the wife of Cecil G.

Fritts Sr. Mrs. Frank Modrick Mrs. Theresa Modrick, 56, of 2320 Market Allentown, died Friday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. She was the wife of Frank Modrick.

Born in Tamaqua, she was a daughter of the late Stephen J. and Rose (Tomasovich) Hutta. She was a member of St. John the BaptistCatholic Church, Allentown. Surviving with her husband are two sons, Frank Jr.

of Wescosville and Stephen of Alburtis; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Valent of Somerville, N.J., and Mrs. Eva Cuzzocrea of Middlesex, N.J; a brother Joseph of Groton, and two grandchildren. Services at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Stephen Kohut Funeral Home, 950 Front Allentown, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in the church.

Ella Frey Trexlertown. She was a schoolteacher in Germansville, Hanover Township, retiring many years ago. Born in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ida A.R. (Scheetz) She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Ebenezer Union Church, New Tripoli, and the Schnecksville Sunday School. Surviving are four brothers, Victor J.

of Allentown, Wilmer A. of Emmaus, Lawrence P. of Trexlertown and Clifford S. of New Tripoli R.1; five sisters, Linda C. of Allentown, Vera wife of Henry Fink of Slatington R.2, Mrs.

Mildred A. Wessner of New Tripoli R.3, Evelyn wife of Alton Weisner of Kempton R.2 and Joyce wife of Walter C. Bear of Germansville R.1. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Richard A.

Kitchen Marvin L. Kitchen, 81, of 507 W. Wilkes-Barre Easton, died Thursday in his home. He was the husband of the late Sadie M. (Trumbower) Kitchen.

He was a school crossing guard for the past 18 years, having last worked in October. Prior to that, he was a watchman for the former Transogram Toy Easton, Harvel Plastics, Forks Township, and the Easton Water Co. for 25 years. Born in Easton, he was a son of the late William G. and Eva Gertrude (Bougher) Kitchen.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Easton. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Miriam Bauder, Mrs. Helen Smith, Mrs.

Shirley Bryfogle and Mrs. Dorothy Oren, all of Easton, Evelyn, at home, and Mrs. Doris Bellis of Milford, N.J.; thee sons, Elwood, at home, Robert of Phillipsburg and Warren of East Stroudsburg; a sister, Mrs. Lila Johnson of Palmer Township; a brother Arthur of Easton; 22 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Agnes V. (Christie) Whitehead, 90, formerly of 935 N. 32nd Allentown, died Friday in Zohlman Nursing Home, Richlandtown. She was the widow of Samuel A. Whitehead, who died in the nursing home a week ago.

She was born in Kearney, N.J. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Salisbury Township. Surviving are a son, Raymond S. of Allentown; a brother Paul of Port Richey, a granddaughter, and two greatgrandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton Allentown. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Dorothy S.

Rabenold Dorothy S. Rabenold, 71, formerly of 700 Union Allentown, died Thursday in Cedarbrook, Allentown R.2. She was a clerk and buyer for H.A. Miller and Sons, Northampton, for 19 years, retiring in 1962. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late William R.

and Sarah (Mills) Rabenold. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northampton. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Stolz, Mrs. Emma Kane and Evelyn, all of Allentown, Marion, wife of Henry Stout of Ocala, and Margaret, wife of Frank Molchan of Bethlehem.

Fenstermaker, 67, of 2110 Pennsylvania Bethlehem, who died Thursday after falling while walking near his home, is a half-brother Charles of Allentown. Doris A. Wetzel, 84, formerly of Sumneytown, died Friday in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the widow of Alvin E. Wetzel. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Lenhart) Roth.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Sumneytown. Surviving are a daughter Alma of Macungie; four sons, Jack of Souderton, Richard of Warren, Warren County, Robert of Allentown and Charles of Harleysville; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets, Allentown.

DeLorm, 89, of 2775 Shore Parkway, Brooklyn, N.Y., died Thursday in her home. She was the widow of Albert DeLorm. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hannah (Grant) Schwartz. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Brooklyn.

Surviving are a son, Albert J. of Orefield; a sister Rita, and two brothers, Joseph of Brooklyn and Harold. Services at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland Allentown, will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown.

Calling hours will be p.m. Sunday. John R. Kilpatrick John R. Kilpatrick, 72, of 1578 Valley Road, Bethlehem, died Friday in St.

Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret N. (Uttard) Kilpatrick. He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 38 years before retiring in 1974.

Born in Freemansburg, he was a son of the late Edward and Anna (Gross) Kilpatrick. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving with his widow are three P. and Robert both of Bethlehem, and William at home; a brother Edward of Bethlehem; and four sisters, Mrs. Josephine Kohler of Bethlehem, Mrs.

Betty Jane Hawkey of Wind Gap, Mrs. Arlene Makuvek and Mrs. Dorothy Konkolics, both of Freemansburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E.

Broad Bethlehem. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Henrietta Unangst Mrs.

Henrietta "Etta" Unangst, of 126 S. Broad Nazareth, died Friday in Easton Hospital, where she was taken after falling and striking her head at the Nazareth Laneco. She was the widow of Harold Unangst. Born in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Florey. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Blue Church, Williams Township.

A brother, Jay W. of Harrisburg, is her only immediate survivor. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Schmidt Mortuary, 407 Belvidere Nazareth. A calling hour will be 7-8 p.m.
